I was occupied deluxe room during my stay. The room was big, clean and comfortable, but you need to do a bit exercise since the room was in third floor, so you have to climb the stair. But it's worth since you don't experience lot of noise during night time, since the hotel located in the main street of Takengon. Be careful of the hot shower since it might get hot suddenly.
They don't have phone at room, so you better save their phone number and call with your mobile if you need anything, otherwise you have to go to first floor then climbing to your room after that. Breakfast usually serve from 6.30 to 9 with two menus: rice (either fried rice or steam rice with chicken, egg or tofu) and bread (they also provide toaster and jam), tea and coffee.
The staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. They will immediately help you when you ask. Not sure if all of them can speak English though, well at least some of them able to.
