To those who are looking for a luxury hotel: do not go here. If you need luxury that bad just go to your dumb resort where you can remain in your insta-bubble. To everybody else who has stayed in a room on the beach; this place is magic. It is away from the busy harbour but close enough to fun restaurants and bars making this a great get-away. Waking up to the ocean every day for three weeks straight (we just felt like staying, that in itself is a sign right? ;p) was amazing. Yes, the staff here does not speak English fluently, but since we are tourists, we adapt right? ;) Try getting to know them and put some effort in greeting the staff in Balinese, it will go a long way.
Also the cabin was not high-end, but we have seen places way more basic than this and we were very happy with it. It had running water (most of the time), A/C, a comfy bed, and a hot shower. (everybody who has traveled knows this is a treat). Also, to those complaining about electricity shorting out: that's a known problem for islands. So, if you can deal with all that, then you're in the right place. Otherwise, don't travel :p
