The G Villas

I stayed here for a couple nights with my gf and had a great time. The room was exactly as pictured (great) and the staff were beyond helpful. I come to Bali a few times a year and this is probably the best bang for buck place I’ve stayed. Met the owner who was a great guy also. Will definitely be coming back here

Such a wonderful place to stay. Friendly staff cool atmosphere not to far to Padang Padang good food across the street two good sushi spots within a minute walk can organize scooters and transportation

Villa was spacious clean and tidy. Could tell it had been renovated recently. Enjoyed the pool and outdoor shower. Good restaurants in walking distance and owner was very helpfull organising transport and scooters to rent. Would stay again for sure.

This is my first time in Bali , breakfast is boring , only bread and fruit in everyday I stayed . There is no reception and no phone , so I have to walk out and find the staff to tell what I need , this is very inconvenient. No need formal check in and check out process , feel very strange . Found there is no hair dryer in room but maybe too late to ask at night 9pm , owner slept and I can’t get it immediately , I have to wait to get it in another day . Pool is not so good actually. The outdoor bathroom is awful, spider , moth , mosquito, worms , many many insects, feel not comfortable when I take shower . When rainy day go washroom I will get wet because this is outdoor . Sitting room is open , so can’t stay long in summer because very hot and many mosquitoes. Air-conditioner seems too old not function well , not cool enough . By the way , location is not bad because u can find some restaurants nearby and which is good , staff is nice and helpful .

I had booked to stay at this place for 2 days. Upon arriving, there is no actual place to check in, the front area was a mess but regardless I thought nothing of it. The owner Ray is very kind and helpful however the villas leave something to be admired. The sheets had an overpowering odd smell , upon entering the bedroom, there was a small hole and hundreds of ants going on and out of it. I didn’t feel comfortable staying there and at about 3 am was woken up by noises and roosters. Upon further looking into the room, I found spiders on the walls, along with spider webs hanging from the picture frames. It’s obvious the place isn’t cleaned very well. Stains on the walls as well as ceilings. Maybe I’m OCD, but I couldn’t stay there another night. I ended my stay short , there is no reception area so I wasn’t even sure where to tell someone I’m leaving so I had to leave my key outside the door and message the owner to let him know. I spent just the night there and booked another room elsewhere. The pool area was dirty and I hated my entire stay there. The place is not kept up well and needs to honestly be maintained better. The price is low compared to other places but regardless as a paying customer you expect to be given a clean room where you feel comfortable spending the night instead I kept worrying about insects being everywhere and whether the sheets were actually cleaned. I’d give 5 starts for the owner but the rooms themselves are lacking .
