Booked to stay for 3 nights and added an extra night. I loved the bungalow we stayed in. It was bright, spacious, clean and I loved the open air bathroom, again very clean. Top notch toiletries were provided, lovely fluffy towels and a massive comfortable bed. Satellite TV. Had some good english channels, tea and coffee making facilities, 4 bottles of water supplied every day. Fridge, safety deposit box, bathrobes and slippers. There was a large sofa that would can be used as an extra bed. All staff were amazing and friendly, breakfast was great and evening meals were fantastic, even though the hotel was quiet everything was available for dinner including fresh fish etc. Lovely big pool that we had to ourselves most of the time. Kayaks are free and it's easy to nip over to the 2 islands, gili kedis and gili sudak. The beach is clean but only just upto the perimeter of the hotel, beyond that I'm afraid that I was shocked to see the amount of rubbish thats gets washed up on the beaches. The location is remote, make sure that you bring everything that you will need there are a couple of shops but they sell very little. I absolutely adored staying at the suites and would definitely recommend.

Our family had 4 days here and although it would have been a lovely stay for just my husband and I, we found it very difficult having young children with us. The staff were friendly, we used the kayaks to go snorkelling, we hired mopeds to see the surrounding areas but with the other guests all being couples we felt a strain to keep the children under wraps. As with all of Lombok, we were amazed by the amount of plastic and rubbish on the beaches and in the sea. Maybe as it was rainy season it was more noticeable but it was everywhere. The food was good and the staff were helpful with the kids requests. We had the 2 bedroom family villa which was large and the private pool was enjoyed. The whole area was clean and maybe with the new hotel going up next door there may be a bit more ‘going on’ in the area. We enjoyed walking to the local village (left as you come out of the hotel) and the kids had fun interacting with the local children.

The Suites have an amazing location, right on the beach overlooking Gili Kedis and Gili Sudak, just down the road from a local village. We stayed in the Family Villa which consisted of 2 large bedrooms with 2 large ensuites joined by a lounge area, plenty of room for our family, well air conditioned. Fortunately for us, we had all the room we needed, as we were the only guests for most of our stay, which meant having the magnificent beachfront infinity pool to ourselves, do not miss watching sunset from here. Due to location, their restaurant was our only option for dining, but it is fantastic and we enjoyed all our meals here, breakfasts, lunches and dinners, with enough variety to keep it interesting for our 5 night stay. You can use the kayaks to paddle to the nearby islands, Kedis does get busy in the afternoons and we found Sudak, which has a bar/restaurant a bit dirty with litter and junk. Staff organised a couple boat trips for us to explore the 'Secret Gili's', which are beautiful, and I hired a scooter to explore the area a bit one day. Wi-Fi can be a bit up and down, but we loved our stay here, staff are helpful and friendly, we will return.

I booked a 2 nights stay here through Agoda and as much as I’m clear that it was non refundable, an earthquake happened a day before my flight to lombok. WHICH WAS BEYOND MY CONTROL. AirAsia has official given me a letter stating that my flight will be canceled. So I emailed agoda for their kindness in refunding my stay as I would like to stay in this place at a different time. After many dings and dongs from agoda, they finally emailed me saying that the PROPERTY REFUSED to refund me. And it is entirely not agoda’s decision (their words not mine). Now you may say why not communicate directly with the property. Brilliant idea when they don’t have a proper website running and no point of contact through email or such. Maybe I’m just out of luck. And yes business is business but it says a lot when a property is extremely calculative and will take advantage of situations like this. Hell I don’t even want for this to happen. Think I wish for an earthquake to happen? Unbelievable!

We spent 4 days at the suites Lombok on a last minute booking and we can’t recommend this place enough! It’s immaculate, in a beautiful setting, quiet and has great staff! We arranged a taxi via the hotel to meet us at the airport via email, this cost 350k idr and I would recommend due to the remote location of the hotel. It made the transfer very easy. The hotels location is remote, but this is so refreshing. There is not a single tourist aimed venue anywhere near by, and I mean nothing, you are immersed in real Lombok, and your are never harassed or showered in tourist tat. I would recommend you take some snacks and all personal hygiene products with you as the closest “big” shop is a good 30 min drive. The hotel is 1 hr from airport, beautiful drive in good roads, the final turn off to hotel is down a 1.5km rural track, but the beach at the end is worth it. It is the only hotel on the road there is a mosque and a small temple at the end, and there are a few clusters of villages. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are beautiful, we had a garden view room. There are two sea view but I wouldn’t worry about getting them as they are next to the pool and restaurant and not as private. All rooms have a/c, fridge, satellite TV and wifi. The shower was my favourite part it is open to the sky (but totally private). One thing to note is that the water is slightly salty, this isn’t a problem and they give you bottles to do you teeth! The pool is amazing, you can’t beat the view especially at sunset- don’t miss it! The restaurant is very good, breakfast was included and there was a good variety for lunch and dinner. The kitchen is spotless and the food is good. There is no other option for eating near the hotel unless you kayak to the nearby island or hire a boat. The shops in the village sell crisps and drinks, not much more. Food cost in hotel is reasonable, it ranges from 60k-120k for a main course and 60k-80k for a starter. This hotel is great for couples very romantic and private, the staff are friendly and polite and have great hospitality training, and they never hover or try and push services. Jan who worked in the reatutrant was amazing, he was so helpful and kind. It was nice to know he was local to the nearby village and that the hotel is supporting the community. During the day there isn’t much to do, We hired a boat called black gold arranged via reception for 350k for 1 day! The driver was amazing he came snorkling with us, showing us the wildlife and beat places! The boat was very safe, life jackets and Finns provided at 25k per item and we got snorkles from the hotel restaurant for free. The boat trip was great, we did amazin snorkelling and had drinks and lunch on the small island surrounding. (5k clean beach fee per island). We also got kayaks from the hotel for free, and paddled to the islands, they are very near and the water is calm and clear. We would recommend this!We also went for some walks, from the hotel beach turn left and you walk though a small set of houses to the main track and a small village, there is a very little shop, and some very friendly children who all love to practise their English with you. It’s a Lovely afternoon walk to see how locals live and to look at the animals and farms. You can walk back along he main road if you don’t want to go via the beach. From the beach turn right and follow the headland arround and you will see some beautiful bays keep going and you come to a small temple on the top of the peninsular, and a great spot to watch the locals fishing. We can’t stress enough how beautiful this hotel was, the staff where amazing, the view and sunset is out of the world and you feel very relaxed here. I hope it remains undeveloped and continues to support the local community, don’t be put of by the remote location. The peace whilst there is worth it.
