The first step in the door and you are overwhelmed with the amount of work that has gone into decorating. This place is beautifully, over the top decoarted!!! The gardens, patio and pool were also wonderful with fabulous views of the countryside. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful with our questions and were always smiling, doing their best to speak english.
Our room (216) had a lovely terrace with views of town and amazing sunsets. You can actually lie in bed and watch the sunset :)
That being said, the room is small, there is little space to store two suitcases other than a closet with no light and two people trying to negoiate their clothes. The bathroom is also a very tight squeeze. However, once in the shower, it is a bit bigger than average.
Toiletries were not replaced during our three night stay. We ran out of toilet paper, asked to have some brought up to our room while we were at breakfast, it didn't happen. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The room nice and dark to sleep at night.
The problem was the noise from a party going on downstairs during the evening going on until 0400 in the morning!! There was also a party one of the afternoons, while we were trying to relax and enjoy the views. It was just too noisy to enjoy. With these parties and the people we could not find a parking spot in their parking lot and ended up parking on the road beside the front entrance.
The breakfasts were delicious. We ate two dinners here and both were very good. I wouldnt say they were generous with their servings. The wine delicious, the cassa vino, made by the owner.
I would stay here again but would certainly enquire about any parties that might be planned. It was just too noisy at night.
