We liked the location. There is a brewery next door which makes the hotel very convenient on terms of food. Also staff was very friendly which makes the stay more pleasant.

O hotel nos surpreendeu quando entramos. Quarto amplo, muito limpo,confortável e decoração aconchegante. O café da manhã é bem servido. Ótima opção para desfrutar da cidade e do QC Terme que fica próximo. Fomos recebidos com muita hospitalidade e atenção pelo Sr Giovanni . Com certeza voltaremos !

Loistava palvelu ja hyvä sijainti. Saimme valita huoneen hiljaisemmalta puolelta tai kadun puolelta. Otimme kadun puoleisen koska siinä oli parveke. Kadulla oli yllättävän paljon liikennettä, mutta ei silti häirinnyt. Panimoravintola samassa rakennuksessa oli myös mukava yllätys. Henkilökunnalle vielä iso kiitos hyvästä palvelusta ja neuvoista!

Abbiamo soggiornato all'Hotel Papa come "base" per un weekend alle terme di San Pellegrino. Posizione comoda, gestione famigliare e personale estremamente disponibile e gentile. Ottimo servizio. Carenza di parcheggio libero (quelli nelle strade circostanti nei feriali sono zona disco 1 ora).

This is a well-positioned hotel with river views in the historic spa town of San Pellegrino, Lombardy. Great for a short break. Easy to get to by regular direct 'B' bus from Bergamo (bus stop outside hotel; bus trip is beautiful through the Valle Brembana). The hotel is excellent value and the hosts are very friendly, particularly the Papa who has been running the hotel for more or less 50 years. Also English-speaking. Rooms are very simple but very clean and very modern bathroom. But GB visitors remember you can't expect tea/coffee/kettle facilities in any Italian hotel room! Filling breakfast with pastries, cereal, yoghurt, rolls, cheese/ham, nice cappuccino etc. Saw they can do a cooked breakfast if asked. A friendly atmosphere was important to me as I was on a solo trip to the region particularly the fabulous spa, after a business trip to Milan. The area is great for architecture enthusiasts of the Art Nouveau era e.g. the spa, the Casino, the old swimming pool, etc. It also has some wonderful local walks in the valley (walk up by the marked route by the casino - pretty steep but worth the view at the top!). If I could recommend anything the road in front of the hotel is very busy so ask for a room at the back if you are a light sleeper. The surrounding countryside and the stunning QC Terme spa are the main attractions. There is also an interesting set of caves but they are only open on Sundays and in summer and so I missed visiting them as I only stayed three nights.

Ho soggiornato per 3 giorni in occasione compleanno di mia sorella. 4 donne e le terme!! Ci siamo trovate bene, a casa. Hotel per quanto riguarda l' arredo delle camere è un po' vecchiotto ma la pulizia, la cortesia, la professionalità lo fanno passare in secondo piano. Abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante e ci siamo trovate benissimo. Il personale dai proprietari (marito e moglie) alle cameriere ed alle operatrici delle pulizie sono veramente persone deliziose e sempre disponibili. Ci torneremo sicuramente. P.s. Il figlio del Sig. Giorgio (propietario) è lui stesso il proprietario del birrificio artigianale di san pellegrino terme e consigliamo vivamente di provare tale delizie.
