We stayed at the B&B for just one night upon returning from a week long trip in the dolomites. We decided to spend a night in Venice to show the city to our kids before returning home. The B&B is completely remoderned, very tastefully decorated and has an overall luxurious feeling to it, which is refreshing especially in a city like Venice where so many accommodations are outdated, and somewhat complacent as far as design goes. It is located smack in the city center, within walking distance of San Marco Square. Our room was spacey, clean and elegant, and had a complimentary minibar for water, beer soft drinks and snacks. but the real selling point is the big balcony open to all guests, with sofas and tables and a breathtaking view of the city, perfect for a candlelit takeout dinner or a bottle of prosecco, compliments of the house (believe it or not!) a final word about our host, Anthony, a British expat who literally couldn't have been nicer or more helpful to us. He was extremely flexible about checkout times and also let us leave our luggage at the B&B as we visited the city. Upon our return seeing us a bit sweaty and tired offered us to wash up and gave us bottles of water without even having to ask. This is definitely one of of those places where you feel pampered and at home. Will definitely be back.
