We stayed here with Selectcamp, who after just handing us our caravan key, we didn't see again till checkout. The 3 bedroomed caravan was lovely tho with 2 full bathrooms. Campsite was well located between Lazise and Bardolino, which are both walkable and hold fabulous weekly markets, with Cisano itself a couple of minutes walk away, with several bars/restaurants and where you catch the ferries from. Food and drink where very reasonable with pizzas from 7 euros and 1 litre of wine 11 euros. We didn't like the fact that the site was split by roads or the fence around the site by the lake!! Put the Bella Italia camping site in this location and it'll be perfect.

After reading some dodgy reviews, I wasnt sure what to make of this campsite but we had a great time. We had a mobile home advertised for 6 but there was only the 2 of us. Not sure how we would have coped with 6 but for 2 it was great. Great terrace and location. Only down fall was perimeter gates closed early so going out in local town nearby was a long walk round on main road.

We visited this site in August 2019. We stayed with Roan and were lucky to have a fantastic rep. Things to be aware of: 1) The old pool - the steps up to the two slides at this pool are dangerous. I witnessed three young children on separate occasions fall from the steep steps when climbing, in one case a very young child fell backwards approx 10ft from the top of the steps onto the padded mat placed at the bottom, having only released one hand to wave to a parent. Although the lifeguard sometimes sat in the corner adjacent to the slides, and witnessed some of the falls, little was done. They would occasionally lift the mat to close the slide but reopen it again shortly afterwards. One of the slides is very close to a wall and a child could hit their head on the way down. Having raised my concerns with the lifeguard on duty I was told the steps are slippy and the children must hold on tightly when climbing. The concrete base of the pool was broken in places. 2) The New Pool area - my child suffered a serious leg/knee injury when he slipped at the top of the slide and his leg slipped through the gap between the safety guard and slide, until his knee became trapped and prevented him falling further. The safety guard is too far out leaving too large a gap which caused the injury. Seeking assistance from the lifeguards was of little use, they would not come and look at him and just shrugged their shoulders and said ‘ice’. They had little interest in how and where the accident happened and wouldn’t even look at our son’s injury until 20 minutes had passed with us trying to provide first aid. It wasn’t until we asked again for assistance; this time to transport him from the poolside as he couldn’t walk and we feared his leg may be broken, that they even came over to help us. When they finally looked at his leg they saw how serious his injury was and organised transport. There was no accident book to complete. The force of the water tipping out of the barrel at the top is very heavy and took some of the children off their feet, and the flipping bowls of water are low and hit someone on the back of the head. 3) I went to main reception to make them aware of the safety issues, and as the staff member requested I wrote a letter to the Manager, to which I never received a reply. 4) The mobile homes on this site are very very close together. Manoeuvring out of cul de sacs is tricky, and parking difficult. 5) Phone reception/internet is non-existent. Great if you want to get away from it all, but having to drive out to get reception to make a phone call became very frustrating. Chargeable Wi-Fi was only available at limited areas on the site (mainly the two reception areas and the Old Pool) and signal strength was not great. 6) For the first couple of days we were there the ‘New Pool’ was closed due to a mudslide caused by a bad storm they had before our arrival. 7) Crazy golf was very dated. Positives: Great supermarket and little shops on site. Lake Garda itself was stunning, and the sunsets from the site were lovely. Proximity to Lazise for evenings out was good.

We stayed in a mobile and booked directly with the site. The mobile was clean, with your own deck and you can park directly beside it. The park is very big, with a mix of rented mobiles and also tents, and other campers. But it is clean, safe and well maintained and quiet at night. The camp is split in 2, we stayed on the side which had direct access to the lake which was amazing, you can walk along the lake to local towns Lazise and Cisano. You can also rent pedal boats, and there is canoeing most days. The other side had the market, pools and a restaurant, we were nervous about this before we re safety crossing a main road but there is a tunnel under the road so it was perfect safe. We went to the new pool the first day, but it was a bit busy for us, we used the the old pool or would go to the lake. The market is well stocked with lovely bakery on site. There are 2 restaurants on site, we ate in Ristorante Ciasno the staff were very friendly, and the food was fab. There is no Internet access... but you can buy some at the reception €8 for 5 hours so every day or so we would get it and download some more shows etc.
