We received a friendly welcome when we arrived, and the check-in was quick. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the street, so wasn't too noisy apart from early morning with deliveries. However, with the window closed, this didn't cause a problem and didn't disrupt sleep.
The room, although small was adequate for our needs. There was an issue with the bathroom with some black mould at the top of the walls above the window, and it quite often had a bad smell, but this came and went.
Breakfast was simple, but a decent selection and the ladies who worked in the breakfast restaurant were really hard working, Ensuring all tables were set up, clearing tables, serving everyone. I can't remember the ladies name on our first day, she had short dark hair. She was so efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Our only real gripe was when it came to check out. We had pre-paid for 4 nights including breakfast, but was charged €81.00 (£75.00). The city tax was only €9.00 and there was an additional €72.00. I asked what this was for and was told this was just to verify my bank card and this would be refunded. I still haven't received a refund and doubtful I will. For this reason, I wouldn't choose to go back to this hotel again. Although it is in a decent location, especially to the train and bus stations. We could walk to most of the points of interest.
