This B&B is located in the nice village of Baschi, about 12 km south of Orvieto. It has quite a number of rooms (6 or 7, I guess), each decorated in another colour. Most rooms are on the first floor ; one big room is on the second floor, just under the roof, and according to us less recommendable for various reasons. The owners are very hospitable and helpfull ; free parking is available on the town square, just 50 m away from the front door of this B&B. On the back side, there is a nice terrace (with just 4 chairs, but OK) with nice views on the Tevere valley, including the highway and railway Firenze - Roma, but none of both did bother us at all ! We stayed here when it was quite hot, so we absolutely needed the air conditioning that works efficiently but not silently (at all). Breakfast is a combination of a romantically dressed table with "Italian" ingredients : industrial croissants, home-made cookies and jam, but no "normal" bread or cheese. Great for most Italian visitors, doubtlessly, and also for us quite acceptable. If you want to visit Orvieto or any other place in Northern Lazio or Southwest Umbria, this is a good address !
