Wow, just wow! Michale and Mary were our hosts at the hotel for the week. They along with all staff are certainly wonderful and do an excellent job for everyone. We had a group of 38 people and our stay included breakfast and dinner each night. Christina was the head waitress and seemed to run the floor, she was fantastic! Ask her about how she makes desserts! ;) Breakfast was as good or probably better than most European breakfasts you will find at hotels over there - you will not be disappointed in the morning. At night you will be even more impressed with dinner at the hotel, all 5 course excellent meals!
We stayed in a Jr. Suite room, in the round tower on the corner, top floor. What a room, what a view! Most of the rooms have the balcony and face the town so views are all around. We had no complaints about any of our rooms for the week. They also have a shuttle to town for the Gondola etc.
We were there for skiing and I did the Selle Rounda tour Green route one day, probably the better than orange route.
Apres' skiing is decent in town but everything, except a few restaurants, close down from around Noon to 2pm, some places open but only for drinks and food later like 6pm. But you can find some for snacks and drinks if you stop skiing early.
Cleaning staff are very pleasant and accommodating. One waiter was also very funny, Colissimo? Can't remember his name.
There is no question about where I will stay next time I ski the Dolomite mountains, Hotel Cesa Tyrol of course!
