This is a small hotel in a small walled hilltop town in Umbria. There are not many choices, and among those you have, Hotel Duomo is one of the best. The rooms are not luxurious, but they are clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was tasty, ample and varied, and the location could not have been better for walking all over town and seeing both the sights and the shops.
There were a couple of minor issues. We had a junior suite and although it included a small table and chairs, there was no comfortable place to sit and relax. My son had a regular room, and there was a desk facing the wall and a desk chair, but nowhere else to sit. There would have been space for a comfortable chair in both rooms. There is a nice sitting area in the lobby but a loud TV is always on, so it is not a place to relax. (The TV seems to be for the entertainment of the front desk, not the guests.) In a warmer season, the exterior courtyard might have been an option, but we were there in chilly October. In addition, my adult son requested an additional blanket, and the person at the desk actually argued that it was not necessary and only reluctantly gave him one.
All in all, it was a satisfactory stay and certainly the many good points outweigh the small inconveniences.
