The primary reason for deciding to stay here was the central location. Being on the main street to the cathedral, it's a great spot to explore this wonderful town.
The B&B is located in an old house over several floors. You need to be able to manage a lot of stairs on entry; as there is no lift.
We were kindly upgraded to a small apartment, for which we were truly grateful. The room had high ceilings and an eclectic mix of furniture. We were certainly comfortable enough.
Breakfast is taken in the family cafe next door. It was of good quality, nice coffee and pastries.
We would certainly consider staying here again.
The rooms do need some TLC, housekeeping is only fair and you don't have to look hard to find thick dust on skirtings etc Bit of a shame really as this could be addressed so easily. I also believe some investment is needed such as upgrading bathrooms (leaky showers) and rusty radiators etc. I only raise this to give a balanced review of what you can expect to find.
The owner was warm and friendly and very efficient with her email communication.
