According to local tax regulation, effective from October 1, 2018 guests should pay accommodation tax surcharge directly to the property upon check-in (per person per night):

Tax JPY 200 - for room rate of JPY 19,999 and under per night.
Tax JPY 500 - for room rate between JPY 20,000 and JPY 49,999 per night.
Tax JPY 1,000 - for room rate of JPY 50,000 and over per night.
City tax of JPY200 is charged at the property per person per night for room rates under JPY20,000.
City tax of JPY500 is charged at the property per person per night for room rates at JPY20,000 and above.
Due to Agoda website specifications, "Guests 13 years of age and older staying at this property will be charged the adult rate." may appear. But children 6 years of age and older are charged adult rates at this property.
Pets are strictly not allowed at the property.
