9-minute walk from the Kyoto train station. Hotel looked better inside than outside. I was very satisfied with my room. Breakfast was good for me, but perhaps can be too Japanese for picky foreigners.

The Almont was outstanding (3 star but service and facilities was like a 4 star). Great locations Anna rooms are spacious and really nice . Very clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet was amazing! But what impressed me the most is how the staff went out of their way with helping us transport our luggage to the different locations we needed to. I’ll definitively stay at the Almont in all my future trips to Kyoto!

Got free upgrade to 3 beds room for no reason ( our booking is 2 twin beds only) . check in service is good , this is the only hotel provide a frozen towel to us when it is super hot outside. It has welcome drink , n the grapefruit soda tastes so good , the shampoo n body soap is Mikimoto , nice ! The public bath is clean and big ,highly recommend!

今回初めて利用させていただき、本当におもてなしのこころのある暖かい、そんな印象を持ちました。色々感動したところはありますが、天然鉱石の温泉の湯は良かった。すごくあったまったです。そして朝食の料理なんかの品揃えがたくさんあり、お味も凄く美味しいかった。また利用します。

京都駅から近く、朝食のバイキングも京都らしいおばんざいが沢山あって、美味しくて良かった。暑い所からおいでくださいましたと、凍ったお手拭きなどのサービスがあり感動した。他のホテルだと人件費を削って（？）か、少ないスタッフでの対応する事が多く、歯ブラシなどのアメニティを自分で部屋に持っていくスタイルのホテルが多くなったと感じる中、部屋に備えつけてあったのを見て地味に感動した。ホテル自体に人工温泉があり、部屋にはシャワーしかないホテルもある中、ユニットではあるが、湯船が部屋にあるのもポイントが高い。デメリットで言うと、ホテル提携の駐車場より、周辺に安い駐車場があるので調べてから行くと良い。ホテルから近いコンビニは、歩いて（京都駅方面に）6分ぐらいあるので、歩き疲れてると遠く感じるかも。総合的に、また泊まりたいと思うホテルでした。

予約に空きがあったとのことで、シングルをダブルにしてもらえたり、配慮が嬉しかった。部屋は綺麗で居心地良く過ごせたし、朝食バイキングも美味しかった。大浴場があり、癒された。とても良かった。
