If you want to be in a convenient location close to Shintomicho Metro Station, and Takaracho Metro Station for access to and from Narita Airport and Haneda Airport, you can't go much wrong with this hotel. The rooms are about as comfortable as they can get for their size. Security is good. The check in process is highly automated and the staff are very helpful if you aren't Japanese. The staff speak limited English but like other places in and around Tokyo adapt their computers to help with translations. The breakfast section which doubles as a tempura for the rest of time comes up with a selection of Western or Japanese breakfasts. I opted for the Japanese breakfast for the duration of my stay as the first morning the poached egg I was served was cold and made me ill after eating it. That being said the Japanese breakfast was absolutely fine. The staff are very helpful and I had no other issues. Would happily stay at this hotel again

To whom it may concern, We have never encountered a hotel manager that is so lack of customer service. We booked the hotel (Hatchbori Shintomicho 11/10-14) last minute. We trusted your hotels because of the good reviews we saw on booking.com and TripAdvisor. The check-in process was smooth, but everything went downhill after the first breakfast. We chose the selection of room that includes breakfast, which is about $22 extra each day on booking.com (with breakfast:$488, without breakfast: $404). We saw the pictures of the breakfast online and the food looks good. The menu at the hotel front desk did not specify that it’s cold. But imagining cold egg yolk, cold half cooked bacon, cold rice, etc. based on my understanding, people from the US, China, and Korea do not eat cold breakfast. And I have never had any breakfast from any hotel that was ice cold. My wife have stomach issue against cold food so we had to eat breakfast elsewhere soon after. Tonight, after a long touring day, I talked to the manager on duty. I thought it would be a smooth process to get refund for the rest of our stay’s breakfast, but I ended up talking half an hour with Morita [---] who was the manager on duty. I explained at least five times to him the breakfast was cold, he could barely understand me. Then, he told me he did not know if the breakfast is supposed to be cold or hot. I wanted the portion of room charge for breakfast refunded. Every single time he told me it’s a hotel policy that breakfast cannot be refunded. I told him this is an exceptional situation, same reply from him over and over again. I asked him if he knows what the word customer service means, he didn’t understand it. We are highly disappointed by how the manager deal with this situation. We understand this is meant to be a budget hotel, but there is a basic level of customer service that a manager should understand. We will never come to another APA hotel again. Our trip has been pleasant until this point. Our whole view of how the Japanese people are friendly and courteseous has changed. We started to doubt what is behind all that pleasant aligado-gozaimasi. We were surprised by how difficult it is for Morita [---] to understand and practice customer service, something so easy to do, by refunding us the breakfast fee, of the breakfast that we did not even eat. I had an excellent stay at this newly build hotel. Small rooms but plenty of room for a single traveler. Small bathroom with Japanese bidet toilet. Great water pressure and quality toiletries. Love the 50 inch TV although all channels are in Japanese even BBC world. Close to Shintomicho Station, about a 2 minute walk if that. Nice friendly staff, lots of restaurants in the area as well as a 7 eleven and a Lawson's close by. (You have to try Japanese sandwiches they are the best). My only complaint about the hotel are the bed pillows, they are too flat and hard! They need to get softer thicker pillows.

何度かこちらを利用していますが、連泊での宿泊は初めてとなります。 客室は広く、過ごしやすいと思います。 しかしながら、前泊者がセットしたと思われるモーニングコールが早朝5:00に鳴り、目が覚めてしまいました。 また、清掃の方が急にドアを開けてこられ、起こされてしまいました。 恐らく同じ方が午後になり、またノックをしてドアを開けてこられました。 この時点であり得ないと思ったのですが、清掃は不要と伝えアメニティを受け取り、 ドアを閉めようとした際、「テレビのチェック」と入室して来ようとしてきました。 こちらが「前日、問題なく見れたので結構です」と断ったのですが 「テレビのチェック...」と同じ話を何度もしてこられ、さすがに対応が悪かったので 他の清掃スタッフに聞いてもらうよう促しました。 対応の不手際についてはフロントとも共有されていないのかと思われます。

羽田空港駅からは、京急線の宝町で降りて歩いて10分でした。銀座、築地など歩いて行けます。このエリアはオフィス街らしく、日曜日はどこも閉まっていて静かでした。一階に天ぷら屋がありたす。部屋は狭いですが、一人には充分でした。TVも大きく、備品も揃っていて、アメニティーも全部ありました。パジャマもありました。日曜日に4500円で宿泊できたのでコストパフォーマンスは良かったです!
