Ini hotel oke bgt sih, biar masuk gang kecil tapi dipinggir jalan besar. Dekat sama halte bis JR dan stasiun kereta. Cuma sekilo dari Kyoto Station. Kamar luas bgt, harganya murah. Tapi nanti bakal diminta uang untuk pajak turis ya, wifinya kenceng juga

This hotel is close to bus stop and Omiya, Shijo-Omiya stations (~150m) so it is very convenience. Around 50m in radius you can find two Family Mart convenience stores (combini) and a lot of restaurant. The hotel is not very close to Kyoto station. You can take bus or metro from Kyoto station to Omiya/Shijo Omiya station. If you are afraid of lost, take a taxi at about 1300 JPY. My family stayed there for 2 nights. The room is clean, large (~35m2). The hotel has free breakfast at another location ~20m away. However guide for the breakfast is hard to understand. If you like walking you can go from the hotel to center of Kyoto: Nishiki market, Hanamikoji street etc. Room rate here is reasonable if you spend sometimes searching for discount on Agoda. Highly recommend!

I live in Japan, and I decided to travel locally at inexpensive hotels around Honshu on my summer break. This hotel was supposed to be one of the better deals, but they somehow snuck in a "city tax" that was more than the actual cost of the room itself, so it ended up being my most expensive hotel, and worst experience. Management was a pain in the butt. They kept sending emails to my personal email address, asking when I'd arrive and giving me a list of dos and don'ts, like I was a bratty kid. I had already told them when I would arrive, and I am a responsible adult, so I didn't need the condescending rules. When you arrive, you need to enter a code to get into the building, but they don't tell you that you need to open the case that it's in. It's a case where you can easily push the buttons through it, but the casing itself hides buttons that you need to press. It's easy to deal with if you know what to do, but if you're just told to press a code, but can't access all the buttons you need, it's confusing. I wasn't expecting a nice hotel, but I had paid more than any other hotel on my trip, and I had some very nice places to stay. This was the lowest quality by far. The room was dark with opaque windows. There was long hair on my bed and on the bathroom floor. There was no tissue paper, razors, or a couple of other standard things. The air conditioner worked, but was quite noisey. The toilet itself was fine, and a nice modern one, but there was little room to move near it. The hotel included breakfast. For this breakfast, you had to leave the building and go nextdoor. There were 2 pieces of white bread, wrapped in plastic, for each guest. There was no butter, margarine, jam, or anything else to put on the bread. There was a drink machine that only dispensed black coffee. It listed a few other drinks, like juice, cafe au lait, etc., but those weren't available. Each guest was allotted 1 raw egg. If you wanted to cook it, you had to get in line. I couldn't be bothered. It was a cheap stove that took forever to fry an egg, and there was a line of people waiting to fry their egg. There was also limited seating in this kitchen area. I couldn't wait to get out of the place. I would never choose to go back there.

the place was very clean and had a relaxing feel, it was nice to relax here after a long day of walking, the location is very near omiya station of hankyu line, also very easy to find, the owner( if that was who he is, the one who checked us in) was very accommodating and friendly, breakfast was just bread and 1 egg per person,, hopefully they will add some jam and butter next time.. all in all, it was still a good place to stay in when in kyoto

You get what you pay for - the rooms are very clean and neat. A little basic kitchen area so you can prepare your breakfast yourself, or even dinner. This is a place to rest and nothing else. You can rent bikes as well. The only downside, really, is that the staff is pretty much unavailable at the times you need them - being early morning and afternoon/night. Also when we arrived around 12 there were noone to let us in. Other than that, it is recommendable - plan around this!! Location is ok, close to a bus stop - but you need to take busses, basically. However pay a visit to the nearby temple, Nishi-Honganji temple - very nice. Buy a day-ticket at the bus, by the busdriver for 600 yens, cash, - inexpensive and easy way to get around all of Kyoto.

We stayed there in March and only lasted for one night before escaping from there. It’s not a non smoking hotel lobby and our bathroom smelled really bad. The whole room had disinfectant smell. Bathroom was full if mold and dirty curtains. Hard beds, no housekeeping unless you stay 4 days then you get it once. Breakfast is just one roll and one raw egg that you have to clean the dishes to cook it. It’s also not a 24 hour front desk it said they come back at 8 but they couldn’t be reached till 10:30 am. Nobody was there for us to complain so we left and they never gave back our money.
