Excellent location. Staff are even better. Thank you so much for your service. Accommodation is a little dated, but it works. Location is great. Photos online are honest representation. Suited our family stay.

Super cute Canadian style lodge in the snow. We had a bedroom with two single beds pushed together, lots of storage space, and the kids had generous sized bunks with an additional loft space. Stocked kitchen with stove-top, microwave and all the basics you need, dining table, TV and drying room for ski gear. A long but do-able walk to ski lifts. Great staff, super friendly. Clean, warm, spacious. Would highly recommend.

This place has large rooms and is walking distance to the kokasai ski lifts which is one down from Sakka ski lifts . It is next door to the beach bar and opposites the Tokyo hotel which is where all the shuttles stop The rooms are spacious and he cabins have their own drying room , we stayed in a cabin as well as an apartment , I prefer the cabins as they have toasters and a light in the bedrooms as well as a drying room , the cabins also have beds where as the apartments have futon mattresses on the floor and not many appliances in the kitchen The staff are very helpful with driving you around to different areas when they are not busy, they will always try to help you I would make a suggestion to change the towels every 3 days as there is no where to wash anything and having the same Towels for 7 days wasn’t that great , also to out a toaster in the apartments as making toast in a grilled with no tongs was very awkward. A Few extra things like a bread knife and extra towels and pillows would be helpful Apart From these minor things , we could not fault the place or the service and helpfulness of all staff There is no restaurant on site , so make sure you stock up because of the weather turns harsh you have to go outside to find somewhere to eat and if the staff are not able to drive you somewhere then you have no option but to brave the elements , at nice when it is -14 with snow and wind it can be difficult with 2 kids to eat out every night . They offer discounted ski lift passes which are a lot cheaper than buying them at the ski lift at the park as well The rooms are very clean and very warm, there is plenty of heating and Sema and noddy work hard to keep the snow cleared from walking areas getting to your rooms . If you are travelling with kids , bring a laptop and movies as there is not one TV channel in English , also take advantage of the fridge and freezer and go shopping for drinks , treats and snacks as well as breakfast items at the supermarket so your not having to go and find a cafe to have a coffee or toast every morning . Overall a very good place to stay in a very good location with lots of different dining options not too far away Highly recommend

Great place for families, close to snow field Happo one, five minute walk to ski field. Staff are very friendly and very willing to help you with anything you need. Very clean and tidy..) Any thing we needed no problem, if we needed to do some shopping they would drop us of at shops and come back and pick us up, drove us to any ski field we wished to visit...)

The location is very close to Kokusai which you can comfortably walk to in 10 minutes. The facilities within the lodge is wonderful. Its kitchen is great. It has everything that you need to cook a feast. I spent three nights and cooked all our breakfast and dinner there. The lodge has sufficient room for 4-6 people. It has a good dry room to store your gear. The manager Sema-san is very helpful. Thanks to him for his hospitality during my stay. My general recommendation to those coming to Hakuba is that if you are not driving in Hakuba, you have to learn the local bus system. Day shuttle bus is free in Happo. They have night shuttle bus after about 7pm. The charge is 300 yen per head. We used it nearly every night after we came back from Happo Onsen.
