The staff here were extremely helpful, any question we had, they had an answer/recommendation and/or found the answer for us, couldn’t recommend them more. They assisted in booking dinners for us (a must in Hakuba as all restaurants are tiny and book out). The hotel has a shuttle to Echoland and designated times which is handy for dinners. The rooms were clean and cosy after a long day on the slopes. The tap room has a large selection of beers which is great at the end of the day. The views alone was worth the 21 hours of straight travel and the 4 am check in. Reviews played a huge part in selecting the right hotel in Hakuba, and let me tell you, this hotel did not let us down, nothing to fault here.

Short walk to Happo One. Great pick up / drop off service to bus &/or train in Hakuba. The full breakfast was perfect before heading out snowboarding & our room view as pictured was sensational!! The beer selection & meals in the bar are good quality too if you’re too tired to head out.

We stayed here with our 2 kids for 6 nights. The location was convenient (only 5-minute walk from Happo bus terminal, local convenience store Lawson, & about 10-15 minutes walk to Nakiyama ski lifts). The room was reasonably sized (though not a lot of hooks or hangers to hang up ski gear). The staff was friendly & helpful ( Jess, Remi & Andrew?). There was also a laundry (500 yen per wash). There was a lift so we didn't have to carry our suitcases up the stairs to the third floor. Overall, we've been happy with our stay.

Stayed here with a friend for one week at the beginning of March for skiing holiday. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable of access to various mountains for skiing purposes. We were extremely unhappy to find out if we booked the accommodation one week prior to dates then we would get the same room for AU$2000 cheaper. When we booked the accommodation back in August it stated that the rooms were in demand and that there was only three or four left at the price we paid. To our surprise when we were staying at the hotel we found out that we were one of two guests staying at the hotel at this particular time. On questioning the staff at the hotel they advised that this was going rate however when I showed them the price currently for the rooms there was obviously a significant difference in the price i.e. AU$2000. My advice if you are travelling to Hakuba at the shoulder edge of the season perhaps try and book a week prior to leaving as there was And abundance of accommodation available on the mountain and indeed closer to the ski slopes with ridiculously cheap prices. We felt extremely ripped off with the price that we paid for this hotel considering it was empty. We were offered no form of compensation. And the breakfast was stock standard for anywhere on the mountain and was average. This hotel is extremely accessible to most skiing mountains with a lot of local free shuttles stopping just outside the hotel. In the cold it is a little far away from Happo one slopes and dining areas and approximately 1 km away from Ecco land which is the main area for food and entertainment. I would just like to reiterate that the staff at this hotel amazing and extremely accommodating.

Hakuba Panorma is well located, clean and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. However, I was disappointed about the standard of the hotel because: 1. Basic toiletteries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, cotton wool, were not provided in the room. There were not even spoons to make coffee or tea. Only when asked were they given but not shower caps. 2. Beds were extremely uncomfortable as they were very hard as opposed to firm. So when I requested for a comforter to be placed on the mattress it was not allowed. 3. Breakfast was the same everyday! The same eggs (scrambled) was served every morning and when I asked if they change the style of eggs to sunny side or omelette they wouldn’t oblige. 4. The onsen/ changing rooms were very poorly stocked. There were not even tissues, but instead paper towels which you cannot use on your face to remove makeup! No cotton buds, no moisturizer, no cotton wool. With all that in mind this should not even be under the category of “Hotels”.
