We were a family of 9, 3 of which where children under age 10. Japanese hotels cannot accommodate more than 4 in a room, so we split up 3 per room. We were given 3 rooms on 3 different floors. 2 rooms were crammed with 4 beds each. The 3rd room had 3 beds. Your room key activated the elevator to take you to your floor only. If we needed something from the rest of our party, we had to leave our floor, meet in the lobby, then follow them to their room. Very super high security, but totally frustrating if your party is on different floors. We were told since we needed 3 beds per room, only 1 room per floor could accommodate large parties. That's why they split us up. We asked for taxi transport assistance one day. We needed 4 cabs, they only called 3 even though they suggested 4 cabs in the first place. Maybe they do not want English speaking guests, their staff has very limited English comprehension. If you are in a group with a Japanese speaking guide, this hotel is very convenient to JR Osaka station and a very good deal. But if you're on your own with limited Japanese speaking ability, prepare for a lot of frustrations. Also, if you want access to an English speaking TV station (CNN or BBC), you need to pay 1,000yen per day extra.
