I just stay one night in ホテル川六 エルステージ, but so impressed Counter staff friendly attitude especially one a little Chubby woman. Her smile let me feel so warm and her enthusiastic service give us very big help. Otherwise, many kinds of breakfast and comfortable hot spring is so wonderful experience.

We had a 3 nights stay in a semi-double room, and while we had expected the room to be small, we recommend that you should upgrade to a larger room. The good: Despite being very small in size, the room tried to incorporate everything in it,e.g. a cup on a hotplate to boil water, TV, a bath tub, a small tv. We picked up disposable shaver from a small container placed at the lift lobby, and extra pillows from the pillow stations. For ladies, do remember to choose your amenities early, as some of the items may run out. It was definitely useful that we get to pick what we want. While it was a bit of a walk between the hotel and JR Takamatsu Station, it was within walking distances to many restaurants. We enjoyed our dinners in Takamatsu very much. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was very affordable, with plenty to eat. In fact, the hotel room prices were also very affordable. The hotel staff spoke reasonable basic English, sufficient to communicate. The not so good: The room was quite dated, and some things were in need of replacement. I had to tug the wire a little for the hair dryer to work. The humidifier in our room had water inside it from long ago, and the metal bits were oxidised. We did not attempt to use it, since we did not find it critical. This might be just pertaining to our room though, as our friend in another room had hers working perfectly fine. It was abit difficult to get the correct water temperature for shower, and it was winter... So this was really a big minus for us.

Location: 5 min walk from Kotoden Kataharamachi, with big supermarket and city bike rental next to this station. The airport bus will drop you off in front of Tokyu Rei hotel, look for Rihga hotel (across the street) and walk into the alley next to it, total walk around 5 min also. Rooms: 3 buildings connected on ground floor, and I stayed in the oldest building (45 US for Friday night with breakfast). Non smoking single room was small, clean, had good Wi-Fi as all Japan's biz hotels. However, only central air conditioning, thus can only adjust 3 fan speeds, but can open room window for fresh air with slight street noise. There are other types of pillow you can choose on the ground floor, and free big bathhouse for hotel guests (4th and 1st floor). Breakfast was also standard Jap biz hotel, like a cafeteria for a quick meal. Staff are polite, helpful and very efficient.

Second time I'm staying here. Was booked by my associate. Great choice! 1 min walk to takamatsu shopping walking arcade. Buy anything and everything there. 1 min to great food. Anything you want to eat from Chinese, Italian to American or even Indian & Nepalese food. Talk about international. Single room is large enough. Not much space for large luggage but comfortable. Toilet a little small though. I'm tall. What I loved was the public bath to soak in nightly. It was good to destress. Staff were very polite. Place was very clean. There's free coffee in the lobby. There's laundry room. There's free choice of pillows to select. There's free pajamas. And comes with breakfast buffet (nice selection of sandwiches or Japanese style) for this price of USD60 per night! Super value with wifi. Very happy & satisfied customer I am!
