The location is about 15 minutes walk from kyoto station, but if you have a lot of luggage, its ok. I recommend walking on the main road, which is slightly west of the hotel so you can have more space when walking with luggage. There is also sytaya nearby for quick food. If youre lucky and get idly arranged 4th floor room with east facing room, youll get great view for the stay.

This place is a pleasant surprise! Very clean. The bathroom is fully equipped with heated seats. There is also tavern on the balcony. Its also quite calm. However, the walls are very thin!.

This place offers good value and is conveniently located. I appreciated the flexibility of having refills and washing facilities readily available. However, i found it a bit cheeky that we had to check in through their sister hotel, which was clearly aimed at reducing costs.

This place offers affordable prices. The staff members are friendly and speak english well. Each room features a refrigerator, microwave, large bed, table, etc. On the first floor, you can also find washing machines, dryers, and cloth racks.

The tourist room is spacious and you can even do exercises or stretch there, so that was great! Its a little overbearing with the kyoto trash system, but depending on where you are from, you may already be familiar with similar separations. Amenities are provided at the front desk. Towels are somewhat thin, yet they work well. Im not sure why they need to wrap everything in plastic, it seems really wasteful. The room was tinier. Tabletop, refrigerator, microwave, all require regular dusting. However, the bathroom was spotless. About ten minutes walk from the main station of khimokushishioke station. Taxis wont be as expensive as oneoff if you have heavy or more than one luggage. In the evenings, its surrounded by peace. I cant comment on the service. Checkin was relaxed and friendly. Apart from that, i never saw anyone because the staff hours are 2 pm to 9 pm. Although you could contact them by phone, having people on site during normal hours, in my opinion, is preferable or comforting for me. Free washing machines are very useful. They also provide detergent and drying racks! Overall, this place is more like rented apartments than fewer hotels, which depends on what one is after. Personally, aside from odd staff times, we had

This place is excellent. It is immaculate and wellkept, with plenty of amenities and a shared laundry room. The personnel are friendly. However, if you are not from japan, the meticulous garbage sorting system can be tense. But it is nice to be allowed to do some good for the environment because many other hotels dont allow you to sort trash as they do here. Every room has sytaying folders with detailed instructions on how to organize trash and how best to use other amenities like air purifiers and air conditioning. They are all written in english, which was incredibly helpful.
