We came here twice. We stayed here for 2 nights. This place is so special, there are so many experiences here. The owner, Tomo San, is very kind and does a nice job of making a nostalgic atmosphere and keeping it clean. We will come back here again.

The food is very delicious and at a convenient price. I would definitely recommend it further and would love to come back again. It's already my second time. The staff is very kind and helpful. The service is good. It's a clean, well-organized and a unique place. Traditional Japanese house manner.

We stayed here for a weekend with three other girls. We chose this guesthouse because the two of us had been there before and loved it and would love to return. The location of this guesthouse is close to Kyoto Station. We slept together in a room with traditional beds on the floor and everything was clean. We are greeted by the welcoming proprietors who are really kind and pleasant. We ate dinner on Saturday night, sat by the bar counter, and the owner served a delicious meal for us. I would recommend this guesthouse and would like to go back.

I definitely recommend this location! We had some wonderful moments here. We stayed with friends and family and had a really great time. It had a charming, quaint, and genuine vibe. We liked that it was a real home that had been converted into a guest home. The wooden design gave us the impression of being in a cabin. It was a highlight to be able to sleep on futons on tatami mats. Our host, Tomo, was a kind and friendly guy who could speak excellent English. Just keep in mind that you are in the middle of an antique room and as such, have to be particularly careful not to spill anything damage. Also, the guesthouse we stayed in shared a shower with the house next door, so remember that when you go to bathe. The wifi is rather weak! The location is good, only a 15-minute walk from Kyoto station or a five-minute walk from Kumo station.
