We stayed one night at the RIHGA Hotel Zest before starting a week-long Shikoku road trip. It's a fairly easy walk from the train station & ferries, and right next to an Airport Limousine Bus stop, convenient for us as we needed to get to the airport to pick up our rental car.
Our stay wasn't that memorable, to be honest--which may be a good thing. Our twin room was a decent size for 3 people, which was great, and the bathroom was no smaller than usual. Beds were a little too firm for me, but I've found that's typical of Japanese hotels. WiFi worked. Oh, and the girl at the front desk gave my son a list of her favorite Sanuki udon places in the area, which was really nice--though probably only possible because he speaks some Japanese. Thanks so much for the recommendation--the place had a line out the door and was well worth the wait!
