Lokasi agak jalan 600m dari stasiun JR Shin Okubo, tapi deket kmana mana ke Shinjuku deket dan stasiun shibuya harajuku juga dekat dengan stasiun keretanya. Cuma waktu dateng dikasih kamar yg beda gedung, trus wifinya kaga ada jadi dikasih pocket wifi tapi cacat gitu deh lemot. Tapi okelah bersih kamar sebenernya luas but tersekat sekat trus belanja gampang ada makanan halal juga makanan india indo turki

In the weird part of Shinjuku, not far from the red-light district but also close to Korea town and stations. Room was small as expected, included kitchen but no cooking utensils at all. Wifi was nearly non-existent. It’s price, at least by Tokyo’s standards, was its beet feature.

I cancelled my booking on July with them and paid the cancellation fee that month. They still charge me THIS month. I have emailed them and they have not replied. Agoda does not know what to do as well.

The property was located in the "Korean" town of Tokyo and was convenient to move around as Higashi-Shinjuku and Shin-Okubo MTR stations are nearby. You can walk to Shinjuku area within 20 minutes. The staff was friendly and explain all the information we need including arranging transport for us. We booked 2 rooms and one of it was in need of a proper maintainence. Overall the rooms were small but that's expected in Tokyo plus at this price point, it's considered acceptable. Wifi reception was bad for the room that was in the opposite block. 90% of the time we had no connection.

I just wish to share my experience in writing in order for all the parties involved to be aware of the reality of such an accommodation. A few months ago, having seen photos on Agoda.com, I had a booked a twin room for 2 people which (as per the photos) had a small tv screen, along with a few other small amenities. This room, very clearly differentiated itself from the remaining rooms Sophiearth III hostel was offering by having 2 mattresses on the floor (which could be joined so that 2 people could sleep together). This specific room/mattress configuration was the sole reason I made this booking (so I could avail it with my partner). Before leaving for my trip, as I was double checking my bookings on Agoda and their corresponding facilities, I noticed that my confirmed booking no longer showed me any similar photos of the same room I had booked. In fact, I noticed that the photos of the said room were no longer available anywhere for viewing. I worried that the hotel would no longer honour & provide me with the same room booked, so I emailed Agoda to share my concerns. I was reticent to cancel this booking in order to make another one as it was non refundable, so in order to be sure of what the situation was, I contacted Agoda. I was assured by Agoda through an email that I indeed would be getting the same room with 2 mattresses on the floor, and that I should not worry as everything would be as exactly booked (my worries were gone post this). As I reached the hotel on the 20th of Feb, I checked in and made the full payment at the property for 5 nights convinced that the room situation was sorted. Unfortunately, as I went up to drop my bags in the room I was disappointed to find that it was not what I had booked as per the photos. They in fact gave me a small bunk bed enclosure/room with no space for 2 mattresses on the floor, no small tv screen or other amenities. The shared bathroom looked very grim, dirty, with a wet floor, no bath mat to dry the feet (another clear contrast to their website photos). When I went to the reception to explain the situation, I also had with me the Agoda email assuring me of the 2 mattresses on the floor and photos of the room I originally booked for (I had taken screenshots for my reference prior to them being removed from the website). To confirm my worst fears, the lady apologized and said they no longer could offer that room as they were going through renovations and it was no longer available. I asked what could be done from their side as this was not acceptable to me. She said "Sorry, this is our mistake but this is the room we have for you", however, when I again expressed my displeasure she then mentioned they had a room with similar sleeping arrangements and that I could have it provided I paid an extra 22,000 Yen. I also inquired about refunds and checkout to which I was told no refund could be given and that to check out I simply had to leave the room and be on my way (key less/number pad lock system). I asked the lady at the reception: "If it is a hotel mistake as you agreed to, why should the client pay?". She apologized and said again that there was nothing they could do. This was terrible and as we were tired from a long day of traveling, and had already paid for the accommodation we managed to stay in for one night. However, I immediately made another booking at another property for the remaining period of my trip and left Sophiearth III hostel, so we could have a reasonable stay without these issues. No refund was ever issued. These guys just refused to provide the correct room or to refund the money for putting us in a the wrong room. TERRIBLE. Agoda also could/would not do anything to rectify this, plus they have refused to publish my review of this place on their website thus making them complicit in this.

There's three parts to this place,(1)the hostel (2)the mini apartment and semi decent size.I booked an apartment for a family of four, when we got there we realised that it was also an hostel.The lady at the check in counter gave us 4 bath towels and hand towels i was shocked i had never experienced this before.She then took us across the street to a room that had a narrow passage with a room at the about 8x8in size.My husband is 6ft 2in and the rest of us is over 5ft inches...can you picture the dilemma.There are two beds in the room and they are not queen or full size And she explained to us we have to pull out the other from underneath one.so if we do that where are we going to stand and where do we put our luggage(pieces) i went back to the office and asked her how we're going to function in that box and she told me that's what I booked, that sent me into a rage. She then decided to change the room because when i showed her my booking for an apartment. This pissed me off when she took me to a room that was what i really booked, it had 4 double beds a kitchen and enough room to get around in.this is deceptive practice i was very disappointed in the hotels manager. lessons learned don't trust small business owners who advertise with minimal information. Ps.the bathroom is not great but under the circumstances that was the least of the problem in that moment we just had to close our eyes and deal with it when you know you can't get your money back.
