It was very convient for transportation and walking and a stop away from main train station. It was quiet for the most part. Some of the tourists from abroad were rude, noisey and messy, yet the local people and staff were very kind and helpful. I got 2 extra nights as I was quite happy there. It’s also worth purchasing a breakfast ticket. Good location. Thank You for a nice stay.

清潔で、コスパが素晴らしいです。全国にあればいいな、と思います。交差点に近く、夜間のパトカーのサイレンが気になった。洗濯乾燥機が埋まっていることが多く、利用し難い。しかし、この価格なら文句なしです。また利用したいです。

Amazing stay, and with the price, nothing more could be left desired. The location is wonderful, there's a 7-Eleven right across the street for food if needed and its literally right next to Gojo Station which makes using the metro soo easy. The accommodations were perfectly adequate for what they were needed: resting and sleeping as we explored Kyoto. Will be back!!

An excellent and convenient place to stay, close to everything we wanted to do. Only 15 minute walk to the Nishiki market, right next to subway entrance and 1 stop from Kyoto station. We enjoyed our stay, would definitely stay there again.

Hôtel très sympa, propre et calme. Les douches ne sont pas au même étage que la chambre. Bon rapport qualité prix. Il est possible de faire sa lessive. L’hôtel est très bien situé à côté d’une ligne de métro et à 15 minutes à pied du centre. Possibilité de check-in avant 15h si vous payez 500yens par heure d’avance ! Sinon il y a un lock bagage.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Pocket for several days while visiting Kyoto. It is located in such a convenient area (walkable distance to Nishiki and transit). The property itself is clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful! It is definitely worth staying here for the price! The only complaint I have come from the other foreigners/tourists. Please be respectful of the space especially when maintaining cleanliness as this is a shared space. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend Pocket hotel!
