Room was very clean and new. For a Tokyo hotel room (all are small unless you pay a fortune), it was a great size. Room Amenities: In the room I stayed in there was a small shelf that ran along the length of the wall of the room that was perfect to put my suitcases under and put food and other items on. There were half a dozen usb charging ports in the room along with plenty of regular outlet. Also an HDMI input in the wall under the TV so you can connect a device to the TV like a Firestick or game console. The TV also has chrome cast so you can stream directly from your phone. There is a Western style mattress and rainfall shower. Bathroom was a good size to spread out toiletries on the sink. Daily cleaning and no noise. There is a doorbell for each room the cleaning staff will ring before entering. You can control the AC or heat in your room regardless of the season and it’s digital. Hotel and Area in General: Great area to stay in with four metro lines in walking distance at Ginza and Shimbashi stations. Plenty of bars and restaurants as well as fast food and convenience stores. There is a kitchen area on the second floor with a stove and oven if you want to cook. Furthermore there is a small gym and laundry area. Some of the front desk staff speak some English and those who don’t will do their best with a translator.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very pleasant hotel in Ginza. The location is terrific - close to both all of Ginza and Shimbashi Station. Our room was small, but this is typical of these small hotels in Tokyo. It was very clean, quiet, had a great shower and is well designed with comfortable beds and pillows. This is an important point, as having stayed in many such hotels before in the Ginza area the beds are usually hard as a rock. Not so here! There is also a very nice common lounge area with comfortable seats. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Having stayed in other hotels of this kind in Ginza before - I have to say - this is the one that I would recommend to others.

New and well designed hotel with comfortable lobby and room. They seem to try to differentiate themselves from a normal hotel but I find the service touch points to be quite disappointing. We arrive early and they took our luggage but didn’t process check in until very return in the evening. They were a bit confused when i asked for my luggage. In a usual hotel the room will be ready with luggage sent up to room. During check out, I requested for them to keep our luggage’s and they ask what time will I return. When I said around 6pm, the lady gave a subtle reaction, so not sure whether she wasn’t happy about it. I asked whether it’s ok.. she said yes but I guess it affected the whole experience I have been accustomed to in all the other hotels I have stayed in Japan. Not sure whether their frontline staff are well trained in frontline hospitality. Location wise it’s a little quiet at night unless you walk to the area near the Shimbashi station. All the surrounding shops and department stores will be closed after 9pm.

Location is convenient as it near to train station and Ginza Shopping area. Room is clean and staff is very helpful. Location is near to restaurant and convenient stores. Additional toiletries items can be taken from the lobby area.

I initially booked this hotel because of its location and misread the star rating. We checked in at around midnight and were greeted by a guy that was definitely not fit to be working at the front desk. We were planning on staying 2 nights and ended up booking another 2 nights over a month ago (total 4 nights). We were asked to change rooms in the middle of our stay (so go through the whole check in/check out process) on my BIRTHDAY because they had to give us another room (not to mention that any hotels i’ve stayed at for a birthday or anniversary they were always thoughtful enough to bring us a small piece of cake or a glass of champagne).They made us wait and wait and wait to find a solution. I ended up calling Hotels.com and as a Gold Member they were able to place me in another hotel (still have to go through the hassle of moving all our things). The staff at the front desk is extremely unprofessional (talking Japanese and laughing/pointing at us) and could barely say if you are not happy you can stay in another hotel. I am so disappointed on how my weekend in Tokyo started and they can be sure that will NEVER be back at any Royal Park hotel.
