ホテル自体は古びて年季が入っており、部屋のお湯は事前に従業員の方に伝えて沸かしてもらう必要があったり、エレベーターがなく4階まで階段を使用する必要があったりと多少不便は感じます。しかし部屋自体のデザインはオシャレで、ご主人様やおかみさんはとても優しく、お話を色々聞かせていただいたり、周囲にはお土産屋さんや飲食店、道後温泉もありとても便利で雰囲気の良い街並みなので、また機会があれば利用したいと思います。

施設は古いけど部屋は広くて対応も良かったと思います。ただ、畳から数が沢山出たり、風呂に使用済みの歯ブラシが置いたままだったりと言った面もありましたが…。また機会があれば利用したいと思います。

近くの駐車場に1部屋車1台分用意されており、歯ブラシや冷蔵庫、ポットや道後温泉でも利用できるタオル石鹸シャンプーセットがついていた。チェックアウト時間は明確に言われなかったが、朝9:50に内線の電話が来た。

周辺の宿泊施設に比べると古くこじんまりとしていますが、朝食は手作り感がありとてもおいしく、旅館のような接客でおもてなしがとてもよかったです。道後温泉に行くには料金も良くもってつけでした。ありがとうございました！

- 万人に最良とはいえないが、多くの人にとって十分よい選択と言える - ピカピカに掃除しているホテルを基準に考える人には向かない - かびくささはある程度はある。とはいえ民宿などではそこそこ経験するレベル。一部の口コミを見て懸念するほどではない(個人の感想) - サイトからは読み取れなかったが部屋にトイレとバスルームはついている - 冷蔵庫は共用スペースにある - エアコンのききはよい - 電源タップがこれでもかというほどある - ベッドは広い - この施設そのものではないが立地と設備的にこの施設の提供するサービスの一部と考えられる道後温泉本館についてであるが、入ろうとすると整理券が必要になり早々になくなる様子。朝は6:00-やっている。6:30の時点で整理券は9:30からのものが配られていた(2023年8月某日の事例)。別館の案内もされるが、そちらも6:30の時点で10数mほどの列。 - 考え方としては「この施設に滞在・宿泊する」のではなく「道後温泉に滞在する, その際に宿泊はこの施設を利用する」と思えばよいだろう。 - 総合的にいうと、この施設は提供する価値を偽ってはいないし、その点において十分な価値を提供している。低い評価をしている人は筋違いであろう(それらが他の人の参考になっていることは否定しない)。

朝食のみ希望しましたが和食で量も丁度良く良かったです。チェックインや朝食の時間が当初の予定より早まったのですが快く応じてくださり有り難かったです。建物自体は時代を感じる作りですが全体的にこの値段帯で満足です。
