The room we stayed in had no wardrobes for storing personal items. The bathroom has now ventilation, the shower had no water. This was in the secluded main house. Breakfast on the next morning was just terrible.

The services are just poor poor poor plain and simple. Food takes too long. Charges Kes 300 per child to pay at the play area. Electricity kept going off so the bouncing castles kept deflating. Asked for our money back but quickly told that they can't refund!!!! I would not recommend to anyone and will never go back. They clearly don't put customers first, just sad in this time and age!! Hope they realise or they will be closing down soon for sure!

I stayed with a missionary colleague for three days in separate rooms. Upon arrival at the hotel, which is in the middle of a slum and is a couple of miles of bumpy dirt path off the main road, I was informed that there was an issue. They claimed that, while they indeed received the reservation through Hotels.com, they had not received payment and wanted my credit card. I refused. They gave me the room, but when it came time to check out and take their shuttle to the airport, they refused to provide the shuttle service. I indicated that their Hotels.com advert stated that they offered "free shuttle service" to Nairobi NBO airport, which is about 45 minutes away. They, again, said they had not received payment from Hotels.com, and they demanded that I pay them and also pay for my own taxi to the airport. I showed them my receipt again for online payment, and the receipt stated that the shuttle service to the airport was free. I refused to settle the incidental and restaurant charges on my bill until they resolved the shuttle issue. I told them if I had to pay for a taxi, then I would deduct this from the remaining charges on my bill. After arguing with the manager, assistant manager, and finally a director, they honored the agreement, agreed to seek payment from Hotels.com, and arranged for an employee to use his own car to drive me to the airport. Several times throughout the afternoon, the manager assured me that a taxi had been called and would be there within 5 minutes to pick me up. After more than 30 minutes the employee drove up in his car and took me to the airport. The manager had been lying all along. I asked for, and was promised on Hotels.com's website, a handicap accessible room. I have a prosthetic leg and need a shower with non-slip floor and safety grab rails in the shower and next to the toilet. Upon entering my room, I learned that they had NO handicap rooms on the entire property. No safety rails in the shower or alongside the toilet. very slick tile bathroom and shower floors. Lastly, the room was dirty. One of the sink drawers had a used female sanitary napkin inside - truly disgusting. There was a small mouse hole eaten through one of the baseboards in the main part of the room. There was a black cricket under my bed which chirped all night. I finally found it and killed it the third day. There were small bits of toilet tissue on the floor around the room and bathroom, which did not appear to have been vacuumed in months or longer. The toilet's plastic drain pipe leaked water/sewage onto the bathroom floor - also disgusting. Restaurant food was okay for rural Africa, but the 10-year old, moldy, Heinz Ketchup bottle they had been reusing for years had a faded and peeling label and rusty cap, and had been refilled with something approaching tomato soup. I refused to use it and asked for a fresh bottle of ketchup. None, of course, was available in the restaurant. No real orange juice. They claimed their orange-flavored drink aid was actual juice.
