Admiral Hotel

You have to first be aware this is a budget hotel and the price is cheap. So you have to adjust your expectations accordingly. They only had 7 Astro channels. Toilet door was creaking and floor gets wet too easily. No fridge or writing table. There were a few ants and toilet window latch was broken. They did give us free cup noodles and there's ample parking. Most importantly, the place was clean. Recommended if you want a cheap no-frills hotel and am not looking for a luxury hotel.

I stay here during a business trip, the price is really reasonable, the location in middle of town, also their stuff super friendly, i got a wonderful experience here. If i come here again i will sure choosing here again!

Bedroom is okay and spacious (I had good and comfortable sleep there). Bathroom is okay as well but no bathroom slippers is provided. Coffee and hot water dispenser are provided. Walking distance to the Middle Eastern restaurant next door. Safe car park area.

This is a pleasant surprise. We were looking for a hotel in Lumut and most of it were fully booked. Left with no choice, we booked a family room at Admiral Hotel. This is the first time we booked a 2-star hotel for a trip with the kids. Hotel is pretty much new At RM128 (~USD37) per night, we braced for a knocked down situation. However, that is not the case at all. The hotel is not located in center of Lumut but if you are driving, all the places you would be visiting is within short driving distance – so not an issue at all. Parking is aplenty in front of the hotel. Lobby is small but pristinely clean and neat. Check-in was done in less than 5 minutes and we were given a card access (yes, a card access !). The room was not big but comfortable with 2 queen-sized beds. Bathroom is super clean with heavenly high water pressure to ease yourself after full day of working or sightseeing. They even give away 4 bottles of mineral water, 2 cups of instant noodle and 4 sachets of Nescafe, all free of charge. Bed is soft with nice pillows. Sleeping at night is not a problem at all as room is well insulated from noise. There is no wardrobe but some racking to hang your clothes. Air-conditioning is using standalone unit but did the job well. Plenty of shop houses around to find food, barber, saloon, etc. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel for short 2 or 3 days stay in Lumut area.

Went there with Family last week. Read on the trip advisor that it is good place to stay therefore i book online trough Agoda. But, advisable you walk in cos the rate is cheaper than the booking online. Hotel are quite clean and so the room too. But the air-cond in the room are not cold even we adjusted till 16 degree. I requested to have a room which is far from staircase since I have baby but don't have. Can see the occupancy rate are low but don't know why the receptionist don't give me. The room (210) are near the staircase and it is very noisy. It was about 7 am, the indian lady who is the cleaner I guess were talking loudly at staircase area. Besides that, there was one room door near my room was not being closed properly and there were beeping sound like alarm clock. Guess the cleaner was doing cleaning in the room. Well, I am quite a sensitive person to sound so this is my comment on the hotel. Overall, it is a pleasant stay still.
