Pajak Kota Penang : Efektif mulai 1 Juni 2014, Dewan Kota Penang telah memberlakukan Pajak Dewan Daerah sebesar MYR 3 per kamar per malam untuk hotel bintang 4 dan 5 sedangkan MYR 2 per kamar per malam untuk hotel bintang 0 hingga 3. Biaya ini dapat dibayar langsung di hotel pada saat check-in dan tidak termasuk di dalam tarif kamar.
