This is a nice hotel with excellent service. I didnt realize i missed my earbuds from the hotel until i received a message from the hotel. And they set up a postage to send to my home. This is the best service ive had in any hotel where ive stayed before. Since the hotel has aged, the owner really put money into innovation to make it look good, clean, and nice.

What a surprising hotel. I slept soundly at the main intersection. Except for the bathroom where road noise could be heard, it had soundproofing installed. The room i stayed in was a little old school, but it was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Basic amenities are provided. No minifridge. The receptionist and staff were courteous and helpful. Parking was limited at this hotel. I enjoyed the city view, especially at night and it was raining. Strategically located. Many interesting places like the infamous pasar kart, a food court, and cafes nearby, as well as the infamous karaoke, are all within walking distance. Reminder! They only accept cash and bank transfers. No credit or debit card. Will return here again. I hope they add a larger tv.

The hotel is clean and the staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean. Downtown is within walking distance, there is a 7eleven and great restaurants around the corner.

We requested a quiet room because we stayed in a triple room. The air conditioning was in excellent working order, and the room was quite large. The hotels private covered parking area was the most liked feature. The restaurants were close by.

The staff is very nice and accommodating. The room is spacious, clean and relatively quiet at night. In a good location, there are many restaurants nearby. The only thing is that there are some noisy neighbors near the hotel who love to spit, but if you can ignore that, you will have a great stay.

Hotel ini sangat luar biasa. Stafnya ramah, pelayanannya cepat dan sangat membantu dan siap merekomendasikan aktivitas yang dapat dilakukan di sekitar Bandar Ipoh dan restoran pada malam hari. Kamarnya bagus, nyaman, sederhana dan bersih. Fasilitasnya lengkap, termasuk colokan, TV, pemanas air, wifi, ketel, pengering rambut, iron, peralatan mandi, dan tuala semuanya lengkap dan berfungsi dengan baik. Tempat parkir kereta juga bagus. Lokasinya strategis di tengah bandar, hanya suara bising dari kendaraan motor lalu. Mau pergi ke mana pun mudah karena dekat, jalan kaki pun bisa ke tempat makan cepat, memory lane, gerbang malam, dan medan makan. Secara keseluruhan, saya puas dan akan kembali lagi!

Hotel ini memiliki lokasi yang sangat bagus dan strategis, hanya beberapa menit berjalan kaki ke beberapa restoran dan toko kue terkenal di Ipoh. Meskipun bangunannya sudah tua, namun interiornya terawat dengan baik dan dilengkapi dengan lift. Yang saya sukai adalah harganya yang terjangkau.

The room is very neat and spacious, and it is also very budget friendly. The only problem is that the room faces a busy road, so there may be noise from vehicles and motorcycles at night, which may affect sleep.

Overall, i was really impressed by this hotel, do consider staying here if you visit ipoh. This hotel absolutely impressed me. The hotel itself is old, but you can see they really tried their best to turn it into a better and modern hotel. The common area floor and interior design have been remodeled to a more modern look. When i arrived at the reception, a very well mannered and friendly indian girl asked where i could park my car because they offered free parking. Yes, it is very rare especially in this area of ipoh, right in the heart of the city. The indian girl explained nicely and patiently to me how to get to the parking lot, which is just behind the hotel. The hotel requires an rm 50 cash deposit. They only accept credit cards, cash, and bank transfer. So off we went to our room on the third floor. The moment we entered the room, there was a really pleasant smell. The housekeeping team did a really good job, except for the small carpet area in the room. The room also has a split system ac, not a central ac. The ac is cold, but it leaking for 2 nights while we were there, so we had to put a bin under it to collect the water. Location is in the heart of town. Nearly everything tourist attractions are within walking distance. After we left, they called and told us we left our shampoo in the shower but we were long gone so we had to get a friend of ipoh to pick it up a few days later. Another downside is the soundproofing of the room isnt very good as we can still hear honking from the street and also when the housekeeper is doing housekeeping. Well done, d eastern team, you guys are doing such a great job, keep up the good work.

The rooms here are spacious with spacious bathrooms. The atmosphere from the 70 s is very strong. The location is strategic and very convenient to go around ipoh city eating attractions on foot. The location of this place is ace! My bro and i can almost walk to the various local wellknown restaurants that are just a stones throw from this hotel. The rooms are well appointed and quite old school in a good way.

We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to ipoh. Very convenient and great place to stay in ipoh. Perfect location to reach the old town, memory lane and street art, markets and nice restaurants in the new town on foot. Very spacious and spotlessly clean rooms. The reception staff and room maids are very friendly and helpful.

The location is excellent. Concubine lane and the night market are both within walking distance. Dont let the outside world deceive you. The rooms are clean, and the air conditioning works perfectly. Although i am not the pickiest traveler, this was undoubtedly a nice treat. I would definitely recommend paying a little more for a good nights sleep.

I stayed here for 10 nights on 2 trips to ipoh. Very affordable for the size of the room and central downtown location with free covered parking. Short walking distance to many choice restaurants. Good air conditioning and strong water pressure for showers. The room we had had 6 power points to charge all our devices! The staff are very accommodating and quickly attend to our requests. The only downside was that the room didnt have a fridge but the staff offered to keep some of our drinks in the fridge in the staff pantry. Very nice! I highly recommend d'Eastern hotel. They offered to move us to another room not facing the main road.

The room is very spacious, clean and affordable. The location is close to most of the best places to visit in ipoh. The only downside is that the room we got is in front of the main road. So it is very noisy despite they installed noise cancelling windows, traffic noise still sip through into our room. Overall a great place to stay but request a room away from the main road.
