Alternatively, self-arrangement to Tioman Island is possible by driving or taking a land transfer from Kuala Lumpur or Singapore City to Mersing Jetty. Guests are required to self-purchase the public ferry ticket online by choosing Genting Jetty as the disembarking point on Tioman Island. Guests are encouraged to contact Japamala Resort at least 24 hours in advance for pick-up arrangements from Genting Jetty. The pick-up service can be arranged for a small fee. Kindly be informed that strictly no ad hoc pick-up arrangement is allowed. Japamala Resort is located around 10-minute boat ride from Genting Jetty. Has an amazing stay at boathouse, private resort. Super love the room, spacious, has some childhood cookies, 2 nights stay with pretty good dinners, every 6pm has free snack at the bar, definitely will come back..
