I needed somewhere to stay the night when I arrived in Kuala Lumpur but all of the hotels seemed to offer blocks of 4, 6 or 8 hours, none of which were suitable. Then I came across this strange place. You need to correspond with them when you get to the airport (free airport Wi-Fi) and they tell you where to go to be collected - it takes them 10 minutes or so to get there. The rooms are... quaint, shall we say, but perfectly adequate. The private 'bathroom' is basically a small room off the bedroom containing a toilet, basin and shower. The latter isn't in a cubicle so you get water all over the toilet floor, but they provide a pair of slip-ons. The towels are more than adequate. There's no restaurant but there's a kitchenette area where free coffee, tea, cereal, snacks and bread for toast are provided so that you can get something to eat before heading back to the airport. After they've delivered you to your room they ask for details of your flight the following day and arrange a time to pick you up, which they do punctually. Free Wi-Fi is provided and it's quite fast, so no issues there. One thing to bear in mind though. Apparently they have 5 properties (which are basically converted houses) and you could be accommodated in any of them. On my first stay there at the start of my holiday I didn't require transportation back to the airport the next day as I was being collected by the tour company I was holidaying with. I made the mistake of providing the tour company with the address of the site (7 Lot 7342A Jalan) but this appears to be a company address rather than the address of the accommodation. Consequently there was confusion the next day when the tour company driver came to pick me up. If I go back to Malaysia and need overnight accommodation again I would certainly use this place but I'd make sure I got the actual address if I was being collected by a third party.

I was originally sent a message via Whatsapp to organize our meeting at KLIA with my two young children when we landed in the late evening. I was pleased that we had found a hotel that were going to meet me and my two young children. Upon arrival I rang and messaged the same number to notify the homestay that we had arrived. To my horror nobody answered and nobody messaged me back!! I was stranded at KLIA alone, no transport,no communication and no call from the KLIA Homestay themselves knowing I was ALONE at the airport awaiting their response! After a flight from Sydney my children were very tired and I was struggling with all of the luggage as I had no buggy available for my 3 year old until we got to oversized luggage. My husband then had to call from Qatar and he also received no response. As well as two airport staff calling to help! We decided to get our own taxi to the accomidation itself which turned out to be a deserted house!!! No answer!! We tgen drove back to the airport with two sleeping children and no accomodation. We stayed at the Tune instead but I struggled to get between two terminals without the prebooked transport from Klia Homestay. My husband sent messages to another number on the website (that I couldnt access due to limited wifi at Klia) and there was no apology frkm Klia Homestay whatsoever just put down as a no show!! I still havent had a reply from them!! Under no circumstances trust this accomodation they have absolutely no idea of communication or mo sympathy!! Truly horrific experience all round!

We needed a place near the airport and I am sure that you always pay a little more for this convenience. The pick up from the airport was smooth. We got the luggage and used the WhatsApp and free wi-fi to contact the owner. He was there really quickly. The house is near the airport and there is aircraft noise but nothing too bad overnight. The room was a good size for three of us and the separate downstairs seating area with TV was very welcome. The best thing was that despite it saying nowhere to get food, there is a humble place 10 mins walk. Go right from house keep straight on and it's on the left. Think the place was something Izah. Anyway it just hit the spot. Lovely rice meals and the iced tea was the best I ever tasted. Our flight wasn't until 6 and checkout at 12 so we were dropped at gateway outlet near the airport. There is free luggage storage and free shuttle to the airport from there.

Near the airport (15 min), nice clean room with a very comfortable and soft bed. Good for an overnight in between flights. There is a mosque nearby though, so if you have to wake up after sunrise this might be a bit bothersome. The only issue is the airport pick up - we had to wait 25 minutes, under different excuses: 1st that they had to pick up more guests so we had to wait for them. After insisting, they were saying that "this was a shuttle bus, that run one time/hour" (never mentioned any of this before when communicating with them at the time of the booking-so we thought they would just be ready for us) In the end we were picked up by a woman (we were talking with a man all this time) and transferred without any other guests. A little confusing, so when coordinating pick up make sure they'll be upon arrival if u don't want to wait unnecessarily - the last thing you want to do when having in between such painful, long trips. I wanted to take a cab/uber but the address is unfindable in Uber & the written address in booking.com is different than what the map shows. Beware.

I am really annoy and disappointed with everything that happen to us with this property last 9th January First of all, I asked when I did the booking if they can keep our luggage, I am sorry for not saying that one of them was a big bag but the truth is that at any moment they asked me how much luggage I was carry with me, and they agree without any question. If you dont have plenty of space, just say It, I can keep your luggage but if It is just one bag or just small size. Because I could have had 5 suitcase or whatever. The thing is that we arrive at the airport with our hotel booked and our transfer to the airport booked at almost midnight. We arrived to the car which had to pick up us and at the moment these people saw us they got crazy. At first they said that we couldnt fit our luggage in the car, finally we could fit it, and everything was inside of the car. Once we had everything inside, they said that we cannot keep our luggage at the hotel because they dont have enough space there. They spoke us in really unkind and bad manners, screaming and they didnt give us any type of solution. (we had one medium bag of 20 kg and one surfoard bag which is quite long but you can keep it almost in anywhere) Finally, their decision was that we couldnt stay at their hotel because of our luggage. They put out of the car all our luggage, they entered to the car and they left us in the airport without hotel or transport in the middle of the night. They didnt show any kind of humanity when they left us there, in the middle of nowhere without internet or phone.  And, like if it wasn't enough, they sent me a message which says that they were waiting for us when they clearly said that we cannot stay there any more. If the problem would have been just the transport we would have pay an extra transport, but It is not what they said to us.  This has been the worst hotel service I have never received.
