SENROSE HOTEL

Booked a room through hotel booking website. Room quite cramp, as for family room they put 2 queen size beds. Aircond OK, Bathroom very clean and TV functioning well. To get hot water, need to request to receptionist. There are many restaurants near this hotel, and new bazar complex as well.

A last-minute decision to travel to Kuantan just to escape from KL. With no prior hotel reservation, stumbled upon Senrose Hotel which is located in Tg Lumpur, just nice a location as we planned to do a road trip down to Mersing and back to KL via PLUS highway. The hotel turned out to be pretty decent a one-night short stopover, with comfortable bed and clean room.

I booked a room with this hotel through a hotel booking website and soon the manager of the hotel himself called me to offer a good rate if only i canceled the booking through the website and made the arrangement directly with the hotel. And so i agreed to his arrangement and canceled the my online bookings. Now, just a few days before the day i check in. I hate myself for forgotten to ask for the hotel's telephone number and so i searched through the internet. Found the number is a cellphone number.. Unless it is a guesthouse or budget arrangement, i never really know a hotel having a cellphone as their main contact number. For the whole day i tried to call but unable to get through.. not until late in the evening. The hotel reception seemed to be in dazed; they needed time to look for my reservation and will contact me later for the confirmation. Until now, i'm still waiting for the call. I think, i'll give up and will book with a regular place to crash this weekend.
