I stayed here for a trip back in Dec 2015. Alina and Julien were amazing hosts! After booking Alina was sending helpful travel tips and making herself available to answer any questions we had. My friends and I arrived on a late flight (2am) and the family was extremely welcoming. They have a beautiful open home. We switched to the 3 bed room which was beautiful; there were 3 bamboo beds that Julien hand made and a lovely balcony. We met a lot of their friends at a barbecue they hosted for the Holidays. All great people. Alina called taxis for us whenever we had plans to go out which helped a lot considering our phones weren't local. We spent the final day with the family, eating local foods, hiking, swimming, and trying local fruits. Overall a great experience! We definitely left with new friends.

My stays with Alina and Julien have been among my best traveling experiences. Ampang looks far away on the map, but it is only 20 minutes away from KLCC by bus and you can find there everything you want. The house is close to the jungle and you will be in permanent contact with the beautiful Malaysian nature (the trees, the monkeys, the birds ...) The house is equipped with the basic things you may need and its simplicity gives it all its charm. The neighborhood is quiet, green and people are very nice. Alina and Julien will do everything to make your stay pleasant. I have already stayed a couple of times and I always pay them a visit when I come to KL :)

My parents and I travelled to Malaysia, and after a long flight we were met by the very welcoming Julien and Alina, they took us for a small hike around the jungle which was very enjoyable. Room fairly basic but the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts made up for this. Definitely for the more relaxed travels but a 10/10 experience
