Le Récif Attitude might be a 3 star hotel, but the service I received was a five star one, provided genuinely and passionately by the following 7 stars staffs, which really exceeded my expectations during these 15 days.
The first contact with Donovan Moonsamy, from Front Office, made a lasting positive impression, when he greeted me warmly & smilingly as follows:- "Hi Sir, How are you?... My name is Donovan. We are soo pleased to have you among us!... How was your flight?... " Followed a friendly conversation while he ushered me to my seaview room 131.
Before retiring, he told me:- "Anything you need Mr Yogesh, please do not hesitate, it will be my pleasure to help you". This sincere care + empathetic nature of Donovan was displayed throughout my entire stay. A striking point was his attentiveness to details. A professional staff who would never fail to enquire daily if everything was plain sailing, and he would always surprise me by going the extra miles.
Shanil Gutty from F&B is another professional who raises the hotels standards very high. Friendly; approachable; courteous are a few adjectives that qualify his character. Shanil is always jovial. He is also empathetic. This could further be infered from the warmth in his tone of voice, every time he greeted me with a smile during food delivery.
A word of appreciation goes also to Sanjay Nynan from Housekeeping for his unmatched & undivided hospitality. Apart from being compassionate, Sanjays politeness; willingness to help and calmness in his tone of voice never went unnoticed. He has also good listening skills. Another true professional who is always smiling.
Neha Meetun: Cheers for your joyful and endless energetic spirit. This ever smiling lady from housekeeping spared no effort in ensuring that my stay remained a pleasant one. Felt truly at home & pampered. Truly professional. Keep this positive attitude & the good work!!!
Vinesh Lolldharry from F&B left no stones unturned in contributing immensely in making my stay memorable. He is a reliable & dedicated staff. Possessing great communication, listening skills, his personality oozes out confidence. He connects with sheer ease with his customers. Needless to say that I received service with a smile, just like Livesh Bulall did.
Livesh is also from F&B who always greeted me warmly and served happily. His caring nature didn't go unnoticed when he enquired if everything is running smoothly and whether I needed something. On many occasions Livesh went the extra miles. Highly proactive. Keep it up!
My gratitude also goes to Veena Ramsahye from Front Office for being so caring. Receiving service with a genuine smile clearly shows passion for her job and her customer centricity, just like the whole team.
The very friendly; proactive guy Wesley Herminette from Maintenance is another professional who has the interests of the clients at its core. A very helpful and amazing soul with strong communication and inter personal skills.
Amith Sookun, Leena Joree and Nevin Lollbeeharee from Kitchen have been equally wonderful with the palatable food they were preparing!!! Loved all the mouth watering dessert prepared by pastry cook Akshay.
Despite the stringent sanitary protocols, the service was top-notch from the beginning till the end. Mauritian hospitality at its peak! You ALL aced it.
