Holiday Inn San Luis Potosi

We stayed here with our dog on our way back home. It is a very clean and beautiful hotel. The people working wore masks and practiced social distancing. Room service food was awesome and inexpensive. The grounds would be wonderful for kids. I would visit again when things return to normal.

I had a 3 night stay at this property recently for a work trip. The grounds are very nice with a green space and pool in the center. The rooms are very dated and my ground level room near the back of the property was subject to external noise from the grounds crew, traffic, etc. The air conditioner didn't work the first night but was fixed after I reported it. The fitness room was clean and well equipped. It looks like a new tower is being finished which may offer better room choices. The staff was friendly and helpful from airport pick-up/drop-off, to check in and at the restaurants as I ate here twice. Food was good as well.

We had a king suite and it was spacious with a dining table and kitchenette. The bed was comfortable. The deep bathtub was big enough for two. There is also a shower. I noticed a very fun playground for children. There are several options of where to eat. We were well taken care of by a young man who carried our bags then parked our truck.

We stayed there with a group last weekend. The facility is large enough to handle large group breakfasts and get togethers. The room was excellent. I slept well and felt safe. There's plenty of parking, the quality of service is high. Hotel staff speaks English. Their prices are great. There's plenty of space to sit around and socialize outside, including a large pool, and various garden areas. You can stay in either the hotel tower, or various motel style garden areas. Various events go on at night but they don't run too late. For instance there was a wedding in the party area of the garden, which was finished around 11. The food service is amazing, there's so many options and they're delicious like home cooked. compared to most Canadian hotels (that's where I'm from) this one is much better, and significantly less expensive.

I was on a business trip and was assigned to this hotel... I thought... holiday inn an IHG brand... should be a good experience... but I was wrong... the staff told the company that payed for my stay incomplete information... so I had trouble checking inn... finillay the problem was solved... by the company that hired my services... not the hotel staff... then I order a pizza from Domino’s (as the hotel is a “Domino’s Place”) and the staff starts making up policies... I asked to talk to the manager about all the problems I had since I arrived... he recognized that the staff needed training. There was a lot of noise outside the room. Restaurant is expensive... US $10 for a small and not very tasty burger... no drinks included.... Really a shame... the place is very nice... big gardens... two pools... outside and inside bar... IGH needs to check that the staff on all their hotels are trainned and work to meet their standards...
