I used this hotel as a layover to visit the Palenque ruins. The hotel is full size Marriott with a lot of upscale shopping within walking distance. There is a supermarket across the street and an upscale mall attached to the hotel. Due to pandemic rules, most of the shopping mall was closed. There is a lot of nice dining available. The hotel staff is great and welcoming. The rooms were well sanitized. During entry to the hotel, you are temperature checked and hand sanitizer given to you. The room was clean and the sheets seemed liked they were fresh and the room sanitized. The swimming pool was open. In heathier times, it would seem a good location to stay here. There is enough shopping and entertainment around this upscale location. Still the price of rooms is a bargain right now. There is plenty of security. The airport is about a 15 minute taxi ride away.

Where should I start with my list of problems: - the 3 table lamps and the bed lights were not working - the AC was noisy and there seemed to be little control over it - it was either on flat out or off. - the hot water tap in the bathroom did not deliver hot water. - the desk phone seemed to be on all of the time. The only way to turn the noise off from it was to unplug it. - The bathroom shower head was rusty - The sealant around the bath was black - the door frame into the bathroom was rusty, corroded and painted over. - The bedding in the room and the towels in the bathroom all felt damp every night. The cost of the hotel was USD 49 plus tax and I honestly have to say it was not worth it. It is clear that the room is not checked prior to having a guest check in and maintenance seems to be non existent. I complained to the desk staff regarding all of the above. Not a hotel representative of the Marriott brand - sadly.

We stayed one night on a Saga holiday tour of the Yucatan. After some ancient and atmospheric haciendas out in the forests, this was so different. We could have been anywhere in the world once we walked in the lobby or in our rooms. Everything worked properly, lots of charger sockets, quiet comfortable bedrooms and good food in the restaurant. High standards everywhere. Just think it would be nice to acknowledge where they are, and incorporate more local art and history in the decor, so we don't think we are in Tampa or Berlin!

First time at this hotel, clean , comfortable, very good service and up to date facilities. Rooms are large with proper amenities, executive lunge is good size and well staffed with good selection of complimentary food and beverages. They have ample parking (self or valet) , taxi available round the clock and connected to the mall via pedestrian bridge

Nice hotel with good location and _very_ pleasant staff. Had a room with view over the pool. Great gym however they need to find a bottle of oil and lubricate the equipment. Very noisy air-condition which had three setting; loud, louder and unbearable. Very loud music from neighbouring establishment making it at least for me impossible to sleep. Upon my request I found out that it was possible to have a room on a quieter side of the hotel. That was not mentioned when I checked in.
