We stayed here twice- our first and last 2 nights in Morocco. The first time our room was small and not up to the usual Sofitel standards (I have stayed in many others around the world), but the second time they upgraded us to a lovely, large suite type room without our asking. Breakfasts (and wine) are expensive here, but you can also just order coffee, juice and croissants which is much more reasonable. One thing I must praise is the concierge staff, especially Mustafah. My husband's checked bag was lost for 5 days by Royal Air Maroc (who are terrible) and the concierge followed up regularly as we traveled, trying to get it back for us once they found it. Alas, RAM refused to deliver it anywhere or allow them to pick it up, insisting we had to be there in person to get it. What would have happened if we were flying out of somewhere else than Casablanca? They even refused to send it on to one of our other other stops, even the airports. Anyway, Sofitel really tried, so hats off to them.
