Villa Verdi Boutique Guesthouse

The actual guesthouse is ok. However, if you need wifi/internet, know that it will only be available at the reception area and the signal will be very weak. While we stayed there we experienced problems with plumbing as well. There are MUCH better options in Windhoek. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I stayed at this B&b several times and the rooms are so clean and modern, staff very friendly and helpful, they have an amazing beautyfull garden with gold fish in pond, the rooms are very very big and a huge shower, Dstv available, very quite with a beautyfull veranda at the swimming pool just love this beautyfull place will continue going back over and over beautyfull @

Villa Verdi looks nice at first glance.....but after one night I can't wait to move out and find somewhere else. Problems as follows: - air con not working and unable to open windows so no sleep. - bed linen and towel looked like they had not been washed after the previous person. - room dirty - shower dirty - fridge very dirty with hairs inside - wi-fi just working sometimes in the reception area ..........I could list more but I think it's clear. I generally like to write something positive in my reviews but I'm sruggling to think of something with this place.

Villa verdi is a comfortable and safe place in Windhoek Namibia. There is a safe place with guard for yr car. The rooms are spacious and elegant decorated. To relax there is a small pool and a nice reading area. At breakfast you get fresh fruit and the cook will make you a cooked breakfast if you like that. A fair and fun place to stay. They offer free wifi at reception

I spent 5 nights here in the centre of the Polytechnic University area and close walking distance to the centre of the city. The staff was courteous, respectful and helpful and they were very pleasant to talk to. Breakfast every morning 7-10 was buffet with nice variety and a hot breakfast option (eggs, bacon, etc) was always offered in addition to the buffet (at no additional charge). The rooms were nice, clean and spacious. WiFi was only near the reception/breakfast area, but the deck/patio has plenty of seating to work/surf from. My room was in the lower area, not pool level, so cellular connection (TN Mobile) was spotty at best given the local geography and an inconvenience. The rest of the grounds do not have this cellular issue. I would & will be coming back when I return to Windhoek and consider it a good option for longer term stays and for conducting business. There were no issues with having business partners at the location for meetings, which was a benefit for myself. My only complaint was the one "squeaky" air conditioner unit of the four was right outside my window/wall.
