We stayed for four nights at the hermitage.
It takes some effort to exclude the brilliant surroundings of our glorious national park and the many great activities provided , but here I’ll only concentrate on the hotel itself .
Quite frankly I don’t think I ever experienced such a good crew . From check in to dining , from bus drivers to the shop .
This is a happy bunch , and that takes some doing from management and individual application. Certainly the ingredients have combined to work here . I noticed how those in higher positions treated their staff well and completely without clumsy rank , mutual respect even and good humour .
I’m loath to single out an individual but Perfect who does the dinner service is everything you would want as an employer.
Man does that guy give 110% or what , even if he is up against some serious competition.
The food was good , well cooked and on occasion adventurous, with good local produce included . Decent wines .
Breakfast was a standard buffet with nothing disappointing about it , get it included in the rate .
Our room was special because of its view and the balcony included .
However like I said it’s the people that make this place work .
