We stopped here on our way to Queenstown and it was great. We booked and arrived late and the owner very kindly had the heaters and lights on for us when we arrived. It was freezing outside but the room was nice and toasty. The motel was very clean and tidy with nice comfortable beds and very reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again and recommend this place to others.

You check in across the street from the rooms. The rooms themselves each have their own parking spot. The rooms are big, clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. The wifi worked very well. The hotel is right in the center of this small town.

Conveniently located and a good value for money. The owner was friendly and welcoming . Our room was super clean and bed was comfortable. It had everything what we needed for our overnight stay. Tip: Great food at “Eat cafe and bar” close by.

Stopped on the way down to Otago. The room was pristine and had everything you needed for 1 or 2 nights stay including a nice private deck. Owner was lovely, will definitely stop again if heading through that way!

Although we took about 30 minutes drive from Lake Tekapo, we chose this motel because the room rate is lower than those in Lake Tekapo. Motel is on the roadside but we were not disturbed by any noise over the night. Car can be parked outside the room. Our room is Triple Studio. Room is not big but is tidy, clean and comfortable. No kitchen but toaster, kettle and microwave are provided. Big bathroom and backyard.
