I like the stay at this hotell. But the dinner i would like mor opsens. The rom was ok. Whit sofa an kjøleskap. It was cilens betwin the roms. I like they sweet peiople that sign me inn and im coming back for a weekend stay anytime soon

Quality issues related to cleaning and behavior regardless Corona outbreak. Lack of visible management - only young unskilled staff. Restaurant with lack of distance between tables. Dirty room - a lot of dust.

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel on the way to Ruykan. Very easy to get to from the Drammen railway station by foot. Hotel is comfortable clean and has a gym and sauna. Also has a reading room and quiet seating area with a fire place. Sakine and Nora on the front desk could not have been more helpful, polite and welcoming. We upgraded for an extra £20 for a room overlooking the river and town which was well worth the cost. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was good and plentiful. Full breakfast and dinner were provided as well as afternoon tea and crepes and cake.

This is my second time here for a number of nights however everything is getting very sloppy. Some examples: Tue 22Oct morning bread knife fell on ground, staff just walked right by; Wed 23Oct morning staff refilling water jugs spilled water, it was just left there; Wed evening wifi died no action taken by staff - could not do any work; the free dinner is canteen food - beware; no crispbread any day for breakfast - unbelievable; they used to have a lovely mackerel in tomato sauce at the breakfast buffet - no longer, now nothing is very good; all the warm/hot items at breakfast are COLD; ordered the burger without chili aioli - got it anyway; velux blind in room in poor condition - does not black-out; hung "no cleaning" sign on door to be socially conscious however did not get any fresh towels as promised so did not do this anymore; gas fire not lit in lounge; tables were cleared but often not cleaned so spills, debris, etc. from previous was not very attractive; Monday 21Oct no whole milk for breakfast - none Sunday night either but I let that go; no butter another morning; had superior corner room however wardrobe was tiny; sauna was not warm just above 70oC; had to get shower gel myself from front desk for the sauna room - none of the shower stalls has shower gel.

Minus: A little worn, the area around the hotel did not feel very safe. To be an upgraded room, there was literally no view. The room also had shower curtains, which didn't feel so clean... Plus: decent breakfast and decent dinner. Service minded.
