Beautiful hotel. Wonderful, helpful staff. Great food and Chef! If you can, get a room in the old section of the hotel. I’ve been there many times over the years and it’s always been that way. Highly recommended.

This is a natural solution for a visit to family in Sandane. Great Historic hotel, with many solutions. The hotel has 3 basic solutions, traditional, 1970 and the newest style. We stayed in a family room in the 70's solution, good space, internett and views. A little noise from the hotel in general, but very clear and functional. We also had dinner, that evening, local deer very good and very good taste. BUT, since we come from Ålesund area, we expected a perfect Cod fish solution, BUT, no this was a Cod fish soup. In general the hotel has a large amount of charm. We will be back.

Excellent food and premium Gloppen made local Beer. Og yes, they have wine and spirituosa. Friendly atmosphere at an ancient hotel originated back to the 1860's, actually even older. Sivertsen hotel changed nam e to Gloppen in the 1980's.

This hotel has a lot of potential. Nice view. Nice building. Yet. First impression is a lobby without promise. Restaurant serves a nice 5 course menu, but offers inferior wine. Rooms are classic, but bathrooms are institutional. All in all a lot of potential not released.

We stayed here for one night on our way from Bergen to Åndalsnes. Nice and clean room, friendly staff and a well prepared meal in the evening. Would also be a nice base camp for hiking and fishing. Hotel with a soul and it get my best recommendation.
