I’ve stayed at Thon several times and always return here when in Arendal.
This time again it gave excellent value despite the Corona.
Excellent location and great breakfast! Looking forward to the evening meal is back!
Will be back!

We had booked another hotel but they remained closed due to the covid-19 pandemic. Therefore we stayed at Thon hotel Arendal instead, that was not a bad alternative! Great central location near the water. Rooms where large and great, beds comfy. The tasty a la carte breakfast (we had to order the evening before) was served on the top floor with excellent wiew.

I only stayed one night,but my stay at the hotel was perfect. Beautiful and newly refurbished room, very clean and comfortable and, last but not least, very nice shower! Reception was great, breakfast was great.
Would definitely stay at this hotel agaian!

Second time here, very nice staff, great place central in the city opposite underground parking place. Nice restaurant / breakfest in the roof floor excellent view over the roof to the water, realy nice delishes breakfest assortment by warm atmosphere typical norwegian. Many restaurants and pubs around. Like to come again.

Our vacation in Norway included a trip to my wife's ancestors town and this was the second Thon Hotel we stayed at during this trip. The accommodations were excellent. The hotel staff was always friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best I've had while traveling, and I have traveled a lot nationally and internationally. It was always a great start to the day. The hotel itself was located right in the heart of the town so it was very easy to wander around and see the sights. The restaurant area where they offered the complimentary breakfast and dinner had an outdoor balcony with great views towards the water. Highly recommend staying here when you are in Arendal.
