Stayed here for almost a week while visiting friends in Port Moresby in Dec 2019. While the apartments were probably pretty swish when first built, they are now well worn, smoked in and a tad grubby - traffic areas get cleaned but furniture, cupboards, curtains etc are grimy and dusty, and for "serviced apartments" they are not really serviced - you'll be lucky to get your rubbish collected each day even. I always had to ask for extra soap, toilet paper and coffee or to have the bathroom cleaned. On the upside there was a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom which is essential for long stay guests in Port Moresby because there are no public laundromats. [Other hotels I have stayed at with washing machines in the larger rooms include the Dream Inn (great place to stay) and the Ela Beach Hotel (they also have a free guest laundromat). The main problem is the location - I previously lived a few streets away in this suburb for a number of years and it is not suitable for overseas visitors. A lot of people walking past on the street outside day and night, a lot of noise at night from dogs barking and fighting somewhere very close, a lot of incidents requiring police attendance and a big gate at the entrance which is kept closed by security guards that reminds us that this is not the shiny end of town. There is no restaurant so you have to order take-out from their other hotel 10 minutes drive away and they deliver but too bad if you forgot to order dessert and still feel hungry after. There is no supermarket or convenience store anywhere nearby - the closest is at Manu Service Station which has a small chinese supermarket and a Big Rooster chicken outlet but Manu is not a safe place for visitors fresh off the plane to go wandering around. The apartments reception did promise me that one of the staff would run to the store for me if I needed anything but when I actually gave the reception a shopping list and some money they could not find anybody free to go. The wifi works but you have to stand outside your room or in the carpark to get a good connection (no use for business travellers with laptops) and the phones in the rooms cannot be used to make phone calls - only to dial reception - and there is no public phone. And why oh why are the owners keeping tree kangaroos in little cages under the stairs? As an attraction? It's a real turn-off to overseas visitors who don't like seeing large animals cooped up in tiny cages. And the smell is awful. I really think this place is best suited to local travellers who know how to handle themselves in this part of town.

Not as described. I was appalled at first sight. The number of cockroaches didn’t impress me at all. Despite the trip advisor description there is NO restaurant onsite, it closed in June/July 2018. The room was old but relatively clean, the fridge froze everything (even on the lowest setting) and the microwave didn’t work(second one did). Lights flicker on even when the switch is off. The staff are great and willing to assist in any way they can but this is Not a 4star hotel.

Large rooms with kitchenettes - I have stayed twice over the past two years and impressed by the convenience at a reasonable price for Port Moresby. You will need a means of transport but it provides a safe and comfortable place to stay in Port Moresby. Staff are very helpful. I would recommend this as an alternative for those who do not want to do the big hotels.

If you want clean, good sized rooms with a kitchenette and a lounge chair to sit in then consider this place. It is away from most attraction and is about 15 minutes from the city, but as I was having to go to other places for work, the location wasn't really a problem. There is a restaurant across the road and the transport to and from the airport great. Taxis are available outside the complex and get the staff to tell you what you should be paying. Wifi is available but slow. Certainly consider going back there next trip to Moresby.

This is by far the best room I've stayed at in Port Moresby. It is self contained and financially affordable.Similar hotels elsewhere at the same rates are non comparable and the staff and the security guards are friendly. Ideal for leisure/business travels as you can cook your own food or order their own room service menu. Fast internet service as well. I will be recommending for my officers to make reservations here when next travelling to Port Moresby for work purposes.
