The legends of the island, including tom and annie, who are both filipino and english, are where to begin. Its the ideal combination to ensure that all of your needs are met, whether you need booze buddies, escorting to an unspoiled island without any other people, delicious cuisine (chicken and coconut curry homemade coconut ice cream gets 5 stars), or if you want to have your phone charger delivered directly to the bus station without request. El nido town has been something of el nigo towns past its reputation as merely tucked away in the tourist area. Banana grove excels at this by providing straightforward junglestyle lodging in pristine surroundings in an authentic fifilian town. Be ready for the local children to welcome you every time you go out! An authentic experience that is not to be missed.

The food was excellent, and the hosts, mr. Anna and tom, went above and beyond for you. The location is lovely, in a great position only 6 minutes from the beach and airport.

If i could give annie all the stars in the world, ill give it all. Her home is lovely with all of the banana trees and other plants. Annie is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond to assist you with anything you need. She is friendly and chatty, as we would say back home. Not to mention the breakfast is delicious! Her husband and boys are also delightful, especially little david, who is full of beans and can keep you entertained for hours!.

Banana grove was amazing! After exploring some of the lodging options in el nido, i was so happy we chose this tranquil little hut with adorable baby goats, cats, and puppies! It was quiet and peaceful at night, yet it was conveniently close to town and nacpan. Everything was still convenient.

This place is a simple and basic accommodation with wonderful hosts. Tom and adele will are very helpful in organizing trips, scooter rentals, recommendations for things to see and do, as well as having smoky conversations. The food is also delicious! Do yourself remeber try the curry with homemade ice cream for dessert. They were able to secure us onsite at last minute requests, arranged an early breakfast so we could eat before our flight, and arrange utmost transportation to the airport for us. We rented bikes for our stay to get around because the price from el nido in kilo is between 200 and 250 peso. Lio beach is only ten minutes away. I would stay here again!.

Banana grove backpackers inn is a fairly small, quiet lodging with symbiotic relationships with the family. Ideal for backpacker who want to escape the crowds while still being close enough to experience something. Highly recommended we will gladly return if we are in the area.

If i return to el nido, ill most certainly stay there again! We felt at ease with tom and annie. We had countless hours of conversation and had an amazing time with them. Annies cuisine is also delicious. It was so delicious that we would come back from town hungry for it!.

This is the best experience if youre searching for a charming and comfortable place to stay when visiting el nido, secluded but close to the city. You sleep in tandoors among the banana plants, returning to basics. The hosts are incredibly kind and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. I heartily endorse this location because it added countless extra special touches to our vacation.

This place is close to the fantastic lio beach, so make sure to visit it. Excellent familyrun and operated native huts run by the kind and attentive duo of tom and annie. They also have onsite tavern with delicious food that has been cooked to order. Everything we tried was delicious and generously sized, from organic pesto spaghetti (basil grown on site! ), freshly brewed coffee and cold beer, to local specialties like pancit noodles and vegetable spring rolls. Annie even made garlic toast with olive oil, which has effectively destroyed other garlic bread for us. The rooms are simple and cozy, but they remain surprisingly cool with only flies because of their original design, where hot air is let out by their native design. Some parts of this location are still being built up due to expansion, including three kubo hüttes when we were there, with plans to construct more. I spent nearly two weeks there in september 2019 and would undoubtedly stay again the next time i visit the area.

We had a wonderful stay with tom and ashley, they really do everything in their power to take care of you and make your stay memorable. The facilities are very basic and there isnt much within walking distance, but if you enjoy camping/glamping and renting odos, youll have pity. Annies cooking is the best in el nidros anyway, so you dont need to venture far after dark!.

Banana grove was fantastic! After exploring some of the lodging options in el nido, i was thrilled to choose this tranquil little pond with adorable baby goats, cats, and puppies! It was quiet and peaceful at night, yet so close to town and nacpan that everything was still practical. Dont let the lack of air conditioning scare you, our room was so cool that ive even slept in sweatshirts a couple nights! Breakfast was delicious, quick, convenient to have before we had to go island hopping in town! Annie, many thanks!.

We had a great time and would suggest it to anyone looking for sexier experiences in el nido. Lovely bungalows outside of the bustling tourist area of elsiidos tourist district. The breakfast was excellent, and the hosts are really friendly! Be aware that this location is more rustic than the typical westernstyle tourist destination (although there are fewer basic bungalow with mosquito nets and fans, chilly bucket showers, shared bathrooms, etc.).

We only really came for breakfast and lunch a few times because it was close to the place we were staying. But the food is so delicious and made with love. Fresh ingredients and delicious food. Try their super delicious salad with lots of tasty ingredients, delicious omelets and real sourdough bread. Thank you also to anny for making our group feel right at home. She was so warm and kind to us which really made us feel welcome. Will definitely be back.
