I had to cancel my stay due to Taal Volcano activity Alert Level 4 and this means that hazardous explosive eruption was possible within hours to days. When I asked for a refund through Hotels.com they did not refund what I paid. Hotels should be more tolerant in cases of disasters and emergencies!

Centtro was promising, but was quite disappointing. The room was nice, but service was bad. We checked in 6AM and agreed to the 500 peso early check in fee. When we checked out, the receptionist insisted it was on a per hour basis, which he did not clarify when he had a chance when we asked how much the early check in fee was. First room they assigned to us STILL HAD OCCUPANTS in it. Room also didn't have toiletries and it was only after about an hour when they gave some. TV was ok but no channels available. Parking is not certain even if you're checked in already.
