Coco Grove Nature Resort and Spa

This place has limited amenities and staff. Most of the time only 1 girl was attending at the front desk, serving food at the restaurant and attending to our needs. The wifi is really weak which I understand because this is a rural place so don't expect a good connection during your stay. Though the connection is stronger at the restaurant still can't even reach 2 bars of wifi. There is also a bit of miscommunication due to language barrier. The staff should be familiarized with both Tagalog/English. They keep on talking to me in Cebuano language even if I don't understand it. Also, it's hard to give them instructions as they can't understand Tagalog well. Hopefully, they'll work on this issue. The beach is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel wherein you have to pass by Mangodlong Rock Resort to get ot it.. We didn't enjoy the beach as it was really rocky and a LOT of seaweeds. Overall, my family and I had a good stay. My kids enjoyed swimming at the pool. We also liked the hammocks set-up between trees.

Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights. We had a very enjoyable experience throughout our stay. Peaceful place, garden was relaxing, clean bed linens but dining place and room needs improvement. I understand why the WIFI is not that strong because of its location. Very professional and friendly staff.

Good place. The room is nice. The place is very clean. Bad management. Stated on the site there is WIFI, yeah there is WIFI but we cannot get in because of the poor connection (internet may not be available). Breakfast starts at 7:30. Srsly? Only hotel i visited that breakfast starts at 7:30. Preparing the food for 30 mins so let us say breakfast starts at 8:00. PS: Do not let your OJT's entertain guest if they will still depend or wait for the decision of the owner or the FO, it is a waste of time for us guest. Thanks!

Was booked here for two nights checked out after one. No internet as advertised no fridge to keep water cooled. Pool filter was not working and pool was dirty. Constant blackouts which made it worse. Only positive was room was somewhat clean and bed linen clean

We only spent one night here but our stay was peaceful. The garden was relaxing and everyone enjoyed the pool. Food was freshly cooked and inexpensive. Don't expect luxury at this resort but enjoy the simplicity. The rooms are basically furnished, clean and comfortable. Extra sleeping matresses were provided for the two extra adults. We were able to enjoy the facilities of the adjacent Mangodlong Beach resort. A very enjoyable experience
